Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Casey ACT Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Casey ACT cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Casey ACT cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

Hi I'm Jasmine, I'm an experienced dog walker ready to take on your dog next.
Background
I have 20 years experience with dogs including looking after timid rescue dogs, highly energetic dogs and older dogs. I have always had dogs as a part of my family and currently own a Golden Retriever puppy. I have looked after a range of animals including friends, family members and neighbours dogs. I have a passion for animals having grown up with them all my life, I will always do what's best for your dog so you can rest knowing they are in good hands.
Location
I currently reside in Amaroo so I can service any of the Gungahlin, Ngunnawal and Franklin areas and I will consider outside these areas too.
Services
I am physically fit so I'm available to walk or run your dog as long as they need. As an experienced dog owner I am able to recognise when your dog needs more or less exercise and when they might need a break. I can look after your dog in their own home, making sure they get the love and attention they need. They will get fed on time and I can provide daily images so you can check in on your best friend.

Hello there, fellow pet lover.
I have had and looked after pets my entire life. Dogs, cats, horses, cattle, fish, chickens and ferrets a long time ago. Young and old. They are an essential part of life and living in my opinion. I work full time and have two children.
I know how tricky it can be to go away when your family includes pets, hence why I seek to be a pet sitter here in the north side of Canberra. I've been a customer of Pawskake since Nov 24 and now petsit for others as well.
I take pride in doing a job well and have people as return customers. I am active so can run with your dog, if this is what you seek or walk slowly with your old hound, should that be your need.
I understand the importance and consideration needed for looking after someone else's fur baby/babies. They are a critical part of our families. I have two children (17 and 13) so also understand how much our children love their pets.
I am able to provide medication, should this be necessary whilst you are away. I will send photos to you, and ensure your beautiful friend is cared for well.
All my pets are vaccinated. I await discussion with you for the care of your fur baby/babies.
Heather

My name is Lauren, and while I am a new Pawshake sitter, I've been surrounded by pets my entire life. I have two beautiful dogs of my own, and they are a huge part of my life.
I grew up in a household with 2 dogs, 3 cats, 7 rabbits, 2 guinea pigs, 2 birds, 2 mice, and many fish! So it's safe to say I am comfortable and experienced looking after all creatures, great and small.
I deeply understand that our pets are apart of our family and leaving them home alone can be a difficult decision. It's important that you have someone you can trust in the privacy of your own home, and to care for your littlest loves.
I am available for day visits and dog walking in Canberra and surrounds, and would love the opportunity to look after your pets so you can relax with the peace of mind they are in safe hands. I will provide your pets with all the care they need including food, water, medication, cuddles, play/enrichment time, and I will clean up any accidents to ensure you come home to a clean and tidy house and a happy pet.
I have over 10 years of experience caring for elderly dogs or those who require regular medication (including all the tips and tricks for those pets who need to be tricked into taking their medicine!). I have adopted multiple rescue dogs in my life and have a soft spot for giving them a second chance at life.
Every pet is different and so is their required care. I'd love the opportunity to meet you and your pet and look after them so you can enjoy your home away from home.

We are passionate animal lovers, and caring for pets is genuinely one of the happiest parts of our week.
My son and I share our home with two cats of our own, and we’ve had the joy of completing several pet sits in the past.
Although our current profile lists “cats only” for drop-in visits, we are very experienced with dogs and other animals as well. We’re always open to adjusting our availability and the types of pets we care for as we grow our little pet-sitting journey.
I will be the primary carer during all visits, ensuring pets are safe, comfortable, and well looked after, while my son joins me as a gentle, caring helper. He absolutely loves animals, treats them with respect, and enjoys earning a little pocket money through helping out.
We would be honoured to care for your beloved pets as if they were our own.

Hi there, my name is Emma. I am a 30 year old lawyer and I am a huge dog lover! My family has owned standard size sausage dogs all my life, and I have owned two beautiful, cream coloured mininature long-haired sausage dogs of my own as an adult. My dog, Tully, is 11 years old and she would much rather sit on the couch and nap in the sun than go for a walk, but I am a huge fan of walking and being outdoors so I would love to walk other dogs. I have experience dog sitting and walking a variety of dog breeds for friends and family. This includes smaller dogs (mostly dachshunds) as well as some bigger dogs like keeshonds and labradors. I work from both the office and sometimes work from home so am available on weekends, mornings, evenings and lunch time (depending on the day). My services include dog walking and house visits to feed/check up on dogs (up to 30 mins, can include watering plants etc). I am looking forward to hearing from you and walking and looking after your beautiful pups!

Hi there, I am Sherry, an innovative craft enthusiast and full time barista (yes! I love making puppucinos and giving lots of pats!). Most of all, I am an experienced owner now celebrating 10th year together with my beloved kitty. Meet Macchiato, my boy who's living at his best. During my free time, I crochet cat toys which I also gift to other cat parents, what a blessing to see the smiles on theirs faces as these happy paws run around! Besides my barista job, I am looking for additional source of income to fund my crochet projects, so I'm here, making use of my natural caring abilities. I am compassionate, responsible and trustworthy. I have looked after puppies, kittens and grown cats while their parents are away, long and short terms, on-site and boarding. I always ensure that our fur balls are living in the cleanest environment and provided with adequate love and resources. I am familiar with their daily necessities and special needs such as deworming. So far, I have accumulated up to 14 months of pet sitting experience, caring for over 10 animals. Oh yes, I have bunnies as a child so I can handle all the alfalfas timothy hays too. Please don't hesitate to reach out!

Hi there! My name is Adarsh, and I am a local student here in Lawson with a deep passion for animal care. Currently, I am studying a Diploma of Community Services, which has instilled in me a strong sense of responsibility, patience, and a genuine desire to support those in my community—whether they have two legs or four! My motivation for becoming a pet sitter is simple: I understand that pets are cherished family members, and their well-being is paramount. I want to offer pet owners in our area the peace of mind that their companions are being looked after by someone who is not only reliable and punctual but also deeply caring. I take great pride in being organized and trustworthy, ensuring that every pet I look after receives attentive care, plenty of enrichment, and lots of love. While I am building my experience, I am confident in my ability to follow specific care routines, handle different temperaments, and provide a safe, nurturing environment for your pet. Whether it’s a refreshing walk, dedicated playtime, or simply checking in on them while you are away, I am committed to treating your pet with the same kindness I would my own.Regarding my home environment, I prioritize safety and health for all pets. To ensure a comfortable experience, I only accept pets that are up-to-date with their vaccinations. I am more than happy to arrange a "meet and greet" before any booking so we can make sure your pet feels completely at ease with me. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend soon!

Hey there! I’m Vetz, a big-time animal lover with years of experience and a knack for keeping pets happy, healthy, and entertained.I’m studying a Certificate IV in Animal Behaviour (specializing in Assistance Animals) and have worked at a doggy hotel that offered grooming—so I’ve handled everything from giant floofs to tiny squeakers. And I totally get the struggles of being a busy pet owner.I’ve got my own amazing golden retriever, Yoshi, who was supposed to be a toy groodle (surprise!). I’ve been doing dog training for years and know how to handle all kinds of pet personalities. Bonus: as someone with a disability, I understand unique needs and how to make life easier for both you and your furry (or scaly!) friend. Here’s what I’m offering:Fun & Loving Care: Whether you’re at work or on holiday, I’ll pop by to make sure your pet is happy and cared for.Updates You’ll Love: Every visit comes with updates—photos, notes, and maybe even news of a new trick!Your Pet, Your Way: I’ll stick to your routines to keep things stress-free for your little buddy.I’m all about happy pets and happy humans. So if you need someone to check in on your fur (or feather, or scale) baby, I’m your person! Let’s make your pet’s day awesome.
