Top cities for cat sitting in Australia

Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Caroline Springs VIC Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Caroline Springs VIC cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Caroline Springs VIC cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

Hi I had the privilege of living with dogs, cats since childhood. So I would say I have around 30 years of experience with dogs .
Me and my husband love our fur baby to bits . We both are IT professional and we both 100% work from home and the best part of the daily routine is my fur baby Teddy is always next to me while I am working and we enjoy lots of time together. We would love to welcome other small- medium dogs to come and spend time with us.
Your pooch will be loved and respected in our care. They will be cuddled, walked and played by 4 of us
We would be happy for night boarding, day boarding as me and my husband are most of the time home. We have 2 teenage kids who love dogs as much as we do. So taking care of your fur baby would be enjoyable for all of us.
We would be happy to have your pet with us if vaccinations are done.
We have a big house, backyard fully fenced and safe. I am very cautious about safety of pets. We also provide more than 30 min walk twice a day. Your pet will be indoor with us and sleeping arrangements would be also inside.
I have a genuine love for dogs. They are our companions and special part of our family and bring so much joy and happiness to our lives.
I can care for 2 dog/puppies at a time in my home and 3rd one would be mine. I can also administer medications if required for your fur baby.
You will receive regular updates as I know how much we miss them when we are away.

I’ve been around dogs and cats since I was a small child, with dogs always being a big part of my life. Growing up, I had experience with breeds including Border Collies, Rottweilers, American Bulldogs and German Shepherds, and as an adult I had two dogs of my own — a Pomeranian and a Maltese. Although I don’t currently have pets of my own, I regularly care for my sister’s two Basset Hounds and Rottweiler, and I also walk and groom two Newfoundlands.I’m calm, patient and confident around dogs of all sizes, and I have experience handling different personalities, including reactive dogs. I’m not a professional trainer, but I understand the importance of recognising a dog’s boundaries, behaviour and individual needs. I also have connections with people experienced in dog behaviour and nutrition, which is useful when understanding different approaches to care. For dogs staying at my home, I have a three-bedroom house with a secure fenced front drive and enclosed backyard. A typical day can include walks, exercise, play, feeding, relaxation and following any routines you have established for your dog. I’m happy to accommodate small to large breeds, provided they are suitable for my home environment.I also offer dog walking and pop-in/check-in visits. For walks, I generally take no more than two dogs from the same household at a time, with the distance and type of walk depending on their size, fitness and leash skills. My goal is simple: to care for your dog as I would my own and give them companionship, attention and a safe environment while you’re away. Most importantly, I want you to feel completely worry-free knowing your dog is in good hands.

I’m a lifelong animal lover who’s happiest when there’s a wagging tail nearby. At home, I have a 5-year-old French Bulldog named Archie, who is incredibly friendly and gets along really well with other dogs. He’s a chilled-out little guy who loves company, so your pup will have a built-in buddy from the moment they arrive!
Me and my fiancee, Crystal, have been around dogs for years and used to dog sit together. We’ve cared for dogs of all shapes, sizes and personalities, and we absolutely love welcoming new furry faces into our home. Becoming a pet sitter feels like the perfect way to keep doing something we genuinely enjoy while helping pet owners feel confident and relaxed knowing their pups are in safe, caring hands.
On a typical day, Crystal and I take Archie out for two walks—one in the morning and one in the evening. We also love taking him to a dog park that’s only a five-minute drive from home so he can socialise, explore and burn off some energy. If your pup stays with us, we’d definitely bring them along for the walks and the park trips so they can enjoy the outing too!
I’m all about making sure each dog gets the attention, playtime and affection they need—whether they’re energetic adventurers or more on the cuddly, laid-back side. My priority is creating a fun, safe environment where pets feel comfortable, loved and part of the family.
For everyone’s safety and wellbeing, we will only take vaccinated pets into our home.
I’d love to meet your furry friend and make their stay with us enjoyable and stress-free!

I love pets and have been pets (dogs, cats andparrots) for the past 16 years. I had a Rottweiler (Blue), a Boxer (Bonzo), 2cats (Mr. Cat - My 3 year old niece named him and Tom) and a parrot (Tottera.k.a Tot). While my boxer passed away, my brother is currently taking care ofmy pets back in India. After moving to Australia, I always wanted to have petsbut my wife, after having her heart broken when Bonzo passed away, is not yetready to have a new pet in our lives. But one thing we did agree on is that wewanted our daughter to love pets just as much as we do. This is the reason whywe do pet sitting/boarding just about anything to do with pets. You can see frommy pics that a lot of them have my daughter playing with the pets that comeover to our house. She adores every one of them and spends as much time as shecan with them. Having said that, while we do love pets we try to get vaccinatedpets as much as possible keeping in mind that our daughter is the one who isgoing to be around them a lot.
For Boarding this is what you can expect from us:
· 2 walks per day. One in the morning and one at night. Both ranginganywhere from 20-30 minutes. If the parent requests for longer/shorter walk, wedo accommodate them.
· We do board anywhere from 1-3 pets at a given time. If you make abooking request, we will let you know if there would be other pets (includingbreed/age of the pet) during your pet's stay. If you have already made abooking and we get another request, we do make sure that I also inform youabout the new booking (including the pet's breed/age)
· 1-2 updates (including pics) every day during boarding (sent via text/WhatsApp).
· I have administered ointments to dogs in the past. I also haveadministered medications (tablets - usually with food) to dogs and would beable to do that based on your instructions.
· I work from home and my/my wife's workstations overlook our backyard(fully fenced) where the pets would be most of the time. So your pet will beunder constant supervision.
For House Visits:
· I can provide food to your pets once in the morning and once in theevening/night.
· I can take them on short walks 10-15 mins in the morning (if needed).
· I can administer ointment (on bruises, for example) (or) administermedication as specified by the parent.
· I will provide daily updates (one for each visit) with pictures of yourloved pets along with a brief update (sent via text/WhatsApp).
For House Sitting:
· Same as the ones specified under boarding.
· I would request access to your wifi in order to be able to do my workwhile I am at your house.

A little about me
I’ve always had a genuine love for dogs and have grown up around them, including caring for my own dogs as well as looking after family and friends’ pets. I’m comfortable with dogs of different personalities and needs, including puppies, seniors, and dogs who may need a little extra patience and care.
I understand that every dog is different, so I like to take the time to get to know their personality, routine, and individual needs. Whether they’re energetic and love a good walk, or prefer plenty of cuddles and a quiet spot to relax, I’m happy to give them the attention and care they’re used to.
I have a flexible schedule, which means I’m able to give dogs plenty of company and attention throughout the dayrather than leaving them alone for long periods.
My home
I live in a house with a yard, giving dogs a comfortable space to relax, play, and enjoy some outdoor time. I’m committed to keeping pets safe and supervised while they’re in my care, and I’d make sure they feel as comfortable and at home as possible.
Most importantly, I want owners to have peace of mind knowing their dog is being looked after with patience, care, and plenty of affection. ️
Services that I provide: Pet hosting, Pet sitting, Dog walks, House visits for feeding/medication etc.
