Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Carine WA Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Carine WA cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Carine WA cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

Hi, I’m Jen — a reliable, caring Hillarys local, lifelong animal lover, local travel agent and small business owner. I work on a flexible hybrid schedule, which allows me to provide dependable pet visits and home check-ins throughout the week.

Animals have always been a huge part of my life and our home. After losing our beloved family dog a couple of years ago, I realised how much I miss having dogs around, which is one of the reasons I enjoy offering dog walks and pet visits while not quite being ready for another puppy of our own just yet.

I’m a single mum to my seven-year-old son Jude, who is also a huge animal lover, so caring for pets feels very natural to us. Alongside our own cats, stick insects and hermit crabs, we love all kinds of animals and genuinely enjoy spending time with them.

I offer home visits for cats, dogs and small animals, including feeding, fresh water, companionship, litter or cage cleaning, bringing in mail, watering plants and general home check-ins while you’re away. I especially love cats and small animals, and I’m also comfortable caring for rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, mice, rats, hamsters and other pocket pets or exotic pets.

I understand every pet has their own personality, routine and comfort level, and I always aim to make visits feel calm, familiar and stress-free — especially for shy or anxious pets. I’m happy to follow detailed care instructions, tailor care to your pet’s individual needs and send regular photo updates for peace of mind.

For dog walks, I enjoy relaxed walks around local parks, walking trails and coastal areas suited to your dog’s comfort and energy level. Safety, comfort and hydration are always a priority.

Having grown up around animals my whole life, I’m comfortable recognising when pets may be feeling anxious, unsettled or out of routine. I stay calm, patient and attentive, and in the unlikely event of an emergency I would contact the owner immediately and seek veterinary care if required.

At this stage I’m focusing on home visits, cat care, small animal care and occasional dog walking rather than overnight stays or boarding pets in my own home.

Typical home visits are around 20–45 minutes depending on your pet’s needs and routine, and I always allow enough time for feeding, cleaning, playtime, cuddles and companionship rather than rushing through visits. I keep my schedule manageable so each pet receives calm, attentive care, and I’m sometimes able to assist with last-minute bookings where availability allows. I request a meet & greet before taking on any booking. During dog walks I prioritise safe leash handling, avoid overly busy areas where possible and tailor walks to suit your dog’s confidence, age and energy level.

Hi! I’m Julie, a friendly, and caring pet sitter based in Perth. I really enjoy looking after animals of all sizes and personalities; from a gentle and loving Bernese Mountain Dog, to an energetic and affectionate Border Collie, and even a cute Maltipoo.
I have experience with both short and extended stays, including a three-week house and pet sit caring for a Border Collie and two cats. I’m comfortable managing multi-pet households and understand how important routine, familiarity, and consistency are for pets; especially when their humans are away.
What I offer
• Overnight house & pet sitting; so pets can stay comfortable in their own home
• Dog walking; tailored to your dog’s energy level and routine
• Home visits; feeding, playtime, and wellbeing check-ins
I work part-time, which allows me to be present, reliable, and caring while still offering attentive support. I treat every home with respect and keep owners updated with regular photo updates, so you can relax knowing your pets are well looked after.
I’m available for pet and house sitting across Perth’s inner and western suburbs, from Fremantle in the south to Ocean Reef in the north.
If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, organised, and caring to look after your pets and home, I’d love to help

Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who’s grown up surrounded by a wide variety of pets. From an early age, I’ve shared my life with dogs of all breeds and sizes — from tiny terriers to large working breeds — and I’m confident handling all temperaments and energy levels. I also have experience caring for cats, horses, birds, and smaller animals like rabbits and guinea pigs.

Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I treat every pet with the same love and attention I’d give my own. I understand that every animal has its own personality and needs, and I’m committed to providing a safe, calm, and caring environment where they feel secure and happy.

I’m also happy to offer overnight stays in my home, where your pets will be treated with all the love and spoiling I wish I could still give to my own family pets back home. My home has a large open-plan living area where pets have free reign to move around comfortably, as well as a secure enclosed garden for outdoor time. We’re also close to lovely parks and beaches — perfect for walks, playtime, and exploration.

Whether it’s daily walks, feeding, grooming, or simply offering companionship, I’m here to make sure your pet feels loved, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your furry (or feathered!) family member!

I’ve always had a deep love for animals, especially dogs and cats. I grew up in a home where pets were and still are part of the family — we had a playful dog (Ozzy) and a sweet cat (Eden) both of whom taught me the joy, responsibility, and comfort that animals bring into our lives. I am interested in all animals but my strongest connection remains with cats and dogs. Pet sitting gives me the opportunity to combine my passion for animals with the ability to help others feel at ease knowing their pets are well cared for. I understand how important it is to have someone trustworthy and attentive look after your pets, and I’m dedicated to treating every animal as if they were my own — with love, patience, and care. Being around pets simply brings me joy, and I’m excited to offer that to others.

Hello! My name is Orla and I am 26 years old and have just recently moved to Perth from Ireland! Animals especially dogs and cats are my absolute passion! What makes me stand out from any other pet sitter is that I have a background in veterinary nursing which I have practiced for over 4 years in which I always deliver high quality care to every animal I meet!
I believe that the owner is always right and I will always listen and take on board anything that you want me to achieve with your pet! I have always loved animals from a very young age and with that the idea of pet sitting/dog walking came to mind as a change in career path! I am a friendly, outgoing and chatty person who will give your pet all the cuddles and attention as if they were my own pet!
The services I will be providing are dog walking and pet sitting whether that be dog or cat. Please make sure your pet is up to date with any vaccinations and also flea/worming treatments especially dogs wanting to be walked as mixing with other dogs may be unavoidable!

I look forward to meeting your furry friends!
