I am a huge animal lover who wants all pets to feel comfortable while their owners are away and will give nothing but the best care to yours. I have many years of experience with animals, both looking after my own pets from a young age (dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, horses) and then working with them when I was old enough. I have a certificate 2 in Animal Studies and my previous 2 jobs have involved the care and husbandry for many birds, reptiles, invertebrates and small mammals. My name is Stevie I'm 20 years old and currently working fifo on an 8:6 swing, i'd be honoured to look after your fur baby's while I have the time whether they just need a walk or if you're away and they need some love. I personally grew up with Rottweilers and labradors and now live with a staffy and an XL bully so I adore the bigger breeds and have become accustomed to them and their challenges. But no matter the size whether they're a horse sneaking in as a dog or just larger than a mouse I love all breeds, always have and always will. I tend to take my house mates dog on 10km walks, but he has a funny paw so that's all he can do unless it's a beach trip then it's magically healed until the car ride home. I'm happy to take your pup on a short walk or take them for a few hours and wear them out, even a beach trip. As long as there is clear communication as to what your pup can and cannot do I'll take them out. I have taught all the dogs my family has owned basic training, tricks and how to walk correctly on a leash, so I'm up for a challenge and to help you if your pup doesn't have leash manners.

Hello! I'm Jo and nothing makes me happier than being able to love on any and all animals, but doggos in particular — I'd love to care for yours! ️
I have years of experience caring for my own dog Benson. He's a beautiful, lovable boy, but is a complicated and reactive rescue pup with very specific needs: from being able to walk his strong, occasionally lead-pulling 30kg self, to dispensing medication and giving him plenty of enrichment at home through play and food — I'm well-versed in dog care. I'm very passionate about caring for doggos' individual needs, and for meeting them at wherever they're at in their lives.
Additionally, I've never thought much about pet sitting until I needed one for Benson —it was only then I realised how unique our requirements were and how challenging it was to find a suitable sitter for him! There's clearly a gap in the community and I would love to be able to support other carers of complicated doggos where I can; I know that it can be really tough.

What is your motivation to be a pet sitter?
- I love animals and I found the love they give is priceless, animals teach you so many things.
Do you have previous experience?
- Yes, since I was a child I had two dogs named Simba and Osa, they both were very well loved. I have missed them a lot. That is one of the reason, I like to think they are with me in spirit when I am surrounded by dogs specially.
Do you only take vaccinated pets into your home?
- yes, specially after Covid. I like to have all caution related with illness or sickness issues.
When are you usually available?
- I normally work mornings from home or office. I am a Finance Officer. This allow me to manage my time according my needs. I normally free from 4pm forwards. Free on Weekends and public holidays.
What is specifically included in the services you offer?
- Most important is the primary needs of your pet as provide medicaments or special dietary. I can provide you videos or pictures to make sure you are aware all the time and stress free while you are away.
Any extra services?
- I consider myself an easygoing person and also a plant lover. I am happy to give the extra mile in my visits ;-) like watering the plants or bring in the mail.
