Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Algester QLD Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Algester QLD cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Algester QLD cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

Hello,
We are a newly engaged couple who are currently building a tiny home, and in the meantime are seeking to house sit for others so we can help others whilst we await our home to be built. (2 birds with 1 stone) We are dog lovers who for the first time do not have pets as we are in between houses, So we would LOVE as much pet time as possible.
We are kind, respectful, clean, and warm and would love to connect if it aligns with your dates.
We have plenty so experience house and pet sitting on other platforms and will happily send you reviews from previous stays if requested.
Thomas grew up on a large agricultural property in country Victoria working with many types of animals and large machinery, he now works in animal management with the local council. Katie has 8 years of nursing background and now teaches yoga on the coast while she starts a new career in Ayurveda and postpartum doula care.We are very happy for long term stays and can negotiate a cheaper nightly rate
P.s we don't smoke or drink.
Warmest regards, Katie and Thomas.

Hi, I'm Ashleigh. I have grown up around animals my whole life, both my parents are from farming backgrounds, and I myself, grew up in country Western Australia. I have lived in Brisbane for about 6 years now. I have 2 indoor only cats and a staffy x greyhound pup. I have studied vet nursing, so I am well versed in handling all different types of pets, big and small. My drive to be a pet sitter is being able to provide the confidence that your beloved pet will be well looked after. Having all my family in WA means when I travel, I need to rely on someone to watch my pets, and unfortunately, sometimes friends are unavailable.
I work full time in the city but have my own car and license so getting around it relatively easy for me. I also live with my partner so being away from home for the night isn't an issue as he can watch our pets.
Please feel free to reach out to me, I would love to assist you

Hi! I'm Georgina, 24 years old and absolutely adore animals. I've had my fair share of taking care of animals as small as an 8 week old puppy and as old as a 10 year old! I'm super active and would absolutely love the chance to walk (or run) with your dogs and give them the activity they need! I've also owned animals (dogs and cats) myself and know that sometimes it can be quite difficult to take care of them when you're busy, and I'm here to make your life easier!
I currently work and study, however i am quite flexible and can do early mornings, afternoons, late evenings, and overnight stays! I offer pet walking, sitting, and home visits!
Some breeds I've had the pleasure of taking care of: XL bully, kelpies, staffies, toy poodles, chihuahuas, and dalmations. So I've got some experience under my belt with all the variety of personalities each dog has!

You can expect the utmost care and love for your furry friends when they're in my care! If they're puppies or elderly, I'll tailor my services towards them, whether that be a shorter distance to walk, playing with them at the park to tire out the puppy energy or relaxing with them outdoors or inside. As someone with 3 years of experience, you can expect them to feel as though they were never left alone.
For bigger dogs I ensure to take longer walks and play with them at dog parks/fields to ensure they have the higher level of activity they need.

I have over 10 years of experience caring for sugar gliders, and they’ve truly been a big part of my life. Taking care of such unique and sensitive pets has taught me responsibility, patience, and the importance of creating a safe and loving environment. I genuinely love animals and enjoy spending time with them, understanding their behaviors, and ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for. This passion isn’t limited to just sugar gliders—I have a deep connection with all kinds of pets. Whether it’s playing with them, walking them, or simply ensuring their needs are met, I always strive to give them the best care possible. Animals bring so much joy and companionship into our lives, and being able to provide them with love and attention is something I truly value. This love for animals motivates me to continue improving my skills and sharing this passion with others.

Hi there, I'm Suji! I've grown up my whole life having cats as pets and I have so much love for them. My beautiful black cat Sabby sadly passed away two years ago. Toward the end of her life I administered medication, and stayed by her side until her last day. I miss having a cat, so I decided to professionally start cat-sitting. This allows me to provide care and kindness to others pets when I don't have one myself. I've been doing cat-sitting so for over 2 years. I treat each cat I look after with the same care, compassion and love as I did with my Sabby. I respect cats' boundaries and adjust the level of attention I provide them with based on their capacity to receive attention. For more timid cats, I give them space and let them come to me when they are ready. This helps them feel safe and supported. During my house sitting or visiting, I clean the litter trays, I will refresh their water, feed them, administer any required medication and give them cuddles and play with them (if they want this)I look forward to hearing from you!

Hi Both my husband and I are dog lovers. we have two dogs both blue Staffy elder one is 8 years old male his name is Jiggy and female is 3 years old her name is Stella. Both are friendly and gentle. We live in Sunnybank area, 25 minutes from the CBD. I always love animals, especially dogs. I have 20 years of experience to handle different types of dog.
Our dogs are well-trained, never escaped our fenced home and damaged properties. By the way our whole house is fully fenced from backyard.so no need to worry about your dogs . Our home is clean and Safe . We try to give your pets homely environment . They are sit on our sofas and bed if they are washed and clean. They can sleep with us in a day time on our bed. We have seperate blankets for dogs. We prefer them to be potty trained .They shouldnt be aggressive towards humans or our dogs. We are very happy to feed them, we request you to provide us with their food and tell us about their eating habits along with the details of the feeing times.
We would prefer small or medium sized dogs it would be great for our dogs as well.
I can sure that we will keep your little ones safe and comfortable.

I am a motivated animal lover who loves the outdoors and has quite flexible availibility. In the last 6 years I've travelled Australia and New Zealand and now settled down in Brisbane together with my partner. During various woofing I enjoyed the company of a big variety of animals and I realised I wanted to spend more time with animals again once I settled down. I love giving cuddles and playing with animals, also up for jogging together with your dog if its used to that.
We have got a nice big old Queenslander we share with a couple of people. We do have 2 energetic and loving dogs who love cats- they've grown up with 4 of them- but are not good with other dogs. So I can host 1 or 2 cats or other small animals that I'd mainly keep in the spare room when it's busy in the house. At quiet times they can explore the house if you give permission.

Hi! We are a couple who genuinely love animals. Back in our home country, we’ve taken care of both dogs and cats, and we also volunteered at a local animal shelter.

We’re clean, responsible, and always make sure pets are safe, happy, and well cared for. We’re comfortable following pet routines and adapting to different temperaments. We can help with feeding, walking, and even bathing if needed.

We enjoy spending time with pets and treat them like family. While we don’t offer pet boarding at our home, we’re happy to visit and take care of your pets in their familiar environment.

We’re also reliable with updates and can send photos or notes if you’d like to know how your pets are doing. Your pets’ well-being is our top priority. We understand how important they are to you and promise to treat them with love and respect.

We look forward to meeting your furry friends!
