Hi! My name is Valeria and animals have always been a big part of my life. Back in my home country, I have my own pets that I love deeply, but since I moved to Melbourne, I miss them every day. Being a pet sitter gives me the chance to feel closer to them, while also sharing my love and care with other furry friends here.
I truly enjoy spending time with pets playing, walking, cuddling, or simply making sure they feel safe and happy. Every animal has its own personality, and I love getting to know each one and treating them as if they were part of my own family. I am a semi-retired, full-time cat Dad. I am happy to look after cats and, due to lifting restrictions, only small dogs too. I could care for your chickens and fish, and if you are away for some time, I would happily water your plants.

I have two cats who rule our roost and have my wife wrapped around their little paws: Pickles and Chai. Chai is a feral rescue cat; it took two months of slowly working up to hand-feeding her before we could pet her. Fast forward 12 months, and she sleeps on us and spends most of her time with me. We then rescued Pickles as a companion for Chai. Pickles is quite the character— Pickles loves everyone! She likes to sleep in odd positions, and can’t get enough of games like chasing the laser dot or stickball; Pickles prefers her grass hand cut by me!
I am currently building them an outdoor cat run and catio enclosure; they’re super excited. I hope to offer custom catio building as a service in the future.&nbsp;
A bit more about me: I grew up on farms in country Victoria with horses, cattle, sheep, chickens, dogs, and cats. We had around 30 cats on the farm in stables and other sheds, and they’d visit the dairy next door daily for free milk. Over the years, I gained experience looking after all sorts of animals, even working with vets on the farm, dealing with various problems - I know how to handle an emergency.I spent 18 years looking after horses for clients, some with values well over $100K.We also ran Cattle and sheep.And there were the house cats and dogs.I have extensive experience caring for animals of all sizes.
Due to a motorcycle accident that resulted in a spinal injury, I found myself recovering in bed for 12 months with my old cat, Mushroom, as my constant companion. Mushroom was a big help in getting me through one of the darkest times in my life. I really do know from experience how important our pets are; they’re family.Before my motorcycle accident, I worked in Real Estate for many years. I have done thousands of home inspections in that capacity.

Hi my name is Elise (35). I've had large dogs all my life and I have 8 years experience pet sitting (your home or mine) and walking dogs. I offer other related services such as pet taxi, pet concierge etc. I own a reliable car and am licensed, should your pet need to be taken to the Vet. I have completed the online RSPCA Accredited training course and I am police checked,  and insured through [link hidden] work part time in retail at Highpoint and Essendon DFO so I have flexibility in taking week and/or weekend bookings.
I am comfortable with dogs of any size and have a German shepherd female myself who is very well behaved and friendly.
My home has a secure 2.5m high fence with plenty of sunny and shady areas to play in, along with lots of toys to help stimulate your pets.
However I don't have an outdoor enclosure for cats so I can only look after them inside my house.&nbsp;
I am also happy to house sit at your own home, if preferred.&nbsp;
I have previously volunteered with North Melbourne's Lost Dogs Home which has been great for learning all sorts of great techniques dealing with dogs of all temperaments and various health issues.&nbsp;

About me:
I'm 22 years old and I am in my 5th year of studying a bachelor of Law and Arts. I also work as the Quality Manager for a private RTO called 4 Up Skilling where I work from home one day a week. I regularly compete in showjumping on the weekends and have 5 competition warmblood horses of my own. I grew up on a family sheep and cattle farm 2 hours north of Melbourne. We had a range of different pets: cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and dogs (including Kelpies, Labradors and Whippets). I own two whippets called Lilly and Hector who live with me in Melbourne. I love animals and thought pet sitting would be a fantastic job to help me through my final years at uni doing what I love. 

Experience: 
My mum was a vet nurse and growing up I volunteered at the vet clinic where she worked in Avenel, Vic. This included helping administer medications, cleaning pet beds, feeding and watering the animals, and walking/exercising the dogs. I also have experience with rabbits and guinea pigs as I owned these pets growing up, which taught me early on of the responsibility of owning an animal. As mentioned above I also have spent the first 20 years of my life on a farm and have experience in managing a range of different animals. I have also dog sat two of my friends dogs before on the days that I have worked from home, Kevin the Labrador and Margot the Labradoodle. 

Services: 
I offer dog walking and home visit services in the Maidstone, Footscray, Ascot Vale, Maribyrnong, and Sunshine areas. I can come to you, or you can drop off your pet to be walked around Maidstone.&nbsp;I am 10 minutes walk away from the Maribyrnong river and offer walk my two whippets along there. There is also an off leash dog park near me where I could walk your dog. I can walk your dog for between 30-40 minutes depending on what they need. For home visits, I would be there for 30-40 minutes and can water and feed you pet, let it outside to toilet, or spend time playing with them. I can also walk your dog as an add on. I will be offering these services on a Monday and Wednesday most weeks, the times will differ to work around my university schedule. I may also offer in the future a daycare service on Tuesdays as I work from home. I may only be out of the house for 30 minutes at a time to run errands. I have a fully fenced back years with grass the services my two dogs wonderfully. The inside of the house is tidy, with little for your dogs to chew or get into. Please keep in mind that your dog would have to be friendly with my two whippets, mine are a year old and two years old and are good with other dogs, but keep in mind their size and the fact they can be high energy at times. I am an animal lover and absolutely love dogs. I have looked after my own dogs for the last 40 years or so, from Border Collies to Pomeranians. Whilst I don't own a dog at present, is all more reason I want to take care of your dog. Spending time with dogs is the best. I get to exercise and be spoilt by their presence.
In fact, I would prefer dogs over humans any day. Only dog people would understand that statement. Dogs make the best companions and their loyalty is second to none. 
Ideally, I would love to walk dogs. I could also doggy sit them at their home when their owner is away at work, or they’ve gone out for whatever reason. Depending on the dog, I may even be able to doggy sit them at my place. Your dog would be loved and cared for as if they were my own. They will be in very safe hands.

Back home my family had a female Rottweiler (Leyla) and a male German Shepherd (Aaron). I spend almost everyday with them and saw them growing up. We were living close to a lake, so i often went there to have a bath with them or went to the nearby forest to throw some sticks. That's what they loved the most. The Rottweiler was special, when it comes to meeting other dogs, so I know how to handle those kind of situations. 
After 8 years of having lived with dogs in our family, i moved overseas by myself and would love to spend some time with dogs again, no matter what race it is, no matter on how i should spend the days with the doggo! I am very flexible about time and location, just leave a message :)
