Siobhán

Siobhan and Emma here! We're two Irish gals who've been living in Melbourne for years. We're now living together and looking to have some fluffy visitors to keep us company.

Siobhan is a primary school teacher who loves running and sea swimming. Because of my CRT work I'm home for a large portion of the afternoons/evenings, and can sometimes work 4 days a week which gives me lots of opportunitiies to bring dogs for walks and keep them company.

Emma is a manager in a local well established hotel. She loves all things food and cooking. Because of Emma's work schedule there are many mornings and evenings where she is available for dog sitting.

We both grew up with dogs and Siobhan even has a little dog (a bulldog called Toast) back home in Ireland which she misses a lot! We've both decided to offer our services and time to fill this fluffy dog shaped void in our lives!

About our dog sitting services:

I am comfortable walking, minding, playing, feeding and administering tablets with their food (had to do this with my own dog previously). I am not comfortable injecting any medicine.

I will only board one dog at a time, will consider two small dogs from the same owner however.

I can walk a dog for as long as they are comfortable and used to. (I run between 5-10k and training for a half marathon so happy with whatever distance!)

Regarding pets being left alone, I am a teacher on summer holidays so have a very flexible schedule and free morning, afternoon and evening at the moment and would happily bring the dogs (if they are able and comfortable) on any errands I have to complete. My roomate is in hospitality and is home both in the evenings and mornings too. 

My availability is Mon-Sun at the moment, however I will be on holidays for a week in January. 

Our home is a two bedroom apartment with an open sitting room, kitchen and balcony. We are on the first floor with two sets of doors into the apartment for security. We are within walking distance of the MCG Yarra Park and Fitzroy Gardens. 

The pets will be allowed to sleep in their bed which can be placed anywhere in the house, if they're more comfortable sleeping in a bedroom that is perfectly fine. We are also happy with them to sleep on the couch. One of our couches folds out too to provide more room if needed. 

Home visits service expectations:

As I am summer holidays at the moment I am free in the monrings, afternoons and evenings. I can stay for as long as required at the moment.

I am happy to water any plants and bring in any mail or packages.
