Nienke

**please note I'm not taking on new dogs at the moment**

My name is Nienke, 34 years old and I am from the Netherlands. I'm currently living in Australia working as a Postdoctoral researcher.  

Animals have always been, and always will be, a part of my life. I grew up with always having animals in my life and could not imagine not having a pet in the house. Unfortunately, I cannot commit to my own pet, as I am only in Australia temporary and it would not be fair to the animal to be left again after a few years. However, over the last 5 years, I have been doing massive amounts of pet sitting and walking, to make sure I get enough dog-vitamins! This means I am experienced with all kinds of dogs and very in tune with the owners. 

At this point, I'm working from home full-time and looking for a furry 'colleague' to keep me company. This will be very much an 'in-home' experience for your dog and I am looking to take on only 1 (or 2, if from the same owners) dog a day, and would prefer the same dog on multiple days. This way the dog(s) and I can get to know eachother well and have a smooth sitting experience! I will be available all days, except Tuesdays. My house is a 2-bedroom free standing house in Hamilton. The backyard is medium sized and completely fenced up with colourbond. I have a doggiedoor that even a great dane could get through. 

What I can offer your dog:
- At least 2 walks a day (I can adapt to whatever your dog likes! Would love to go for a run if the dog wants to)
- Regular play time, snuggles and pets! As many as desired
- A comfy bed in my office, for allll the naps!
- Access to outside/inside at all times
- I can administer any medication/treatment needed
- I will stay in line with any training the dog is used to
- If not too far away, I can offer pick-up and drop-off too (for a fee) 

What I'd like from your dog:
- Minimal barking and no destructive behaviours
- Social with humans and other dogs
- To give ME all the snuggles I desire ;)
