My calendar is up to date, and taking bookings for care from the 25th January.
Very experienced with over twenty years of dog care, and we are very conveniently located near the entrance (exit) to Canberra for ease of drop off and pick up. Alternatively, I now offer pickup service ($20 pickup or dropoff). At my place, all guest dogs are treated like family. Someone is home most of the time, and your dogs live inside with me, and sleep in my room or with my kids.... Small dogs are even allowed to sleep on the bed too! Lots of space inside and out for your pooches. We have a large green backyard with lots of trees and a dog built dog race track (true!) for your doggies to have fun and run around. The yard is securely fenced and safe, and we live in a nice quiet area. Inside we have lots of floor space, rugs, couch space and quiet time. For the hotter summer days we have a nice big ac in the wooden floored lounge room for beating the heat (or a heater in this crazy Canberra weather). I am experienced with large dogs as well as small, and welcome all size pooches. We have looked after many dogs over the years, and so many of them beat the front door down upon a return visit, now that's paws for thought about how much your pets enjoy their stay. :) Your pet will often spend a large part of their stay playing, and they get lots of positive stimulation in a safe environment. Alternatively if they prefer a more serene environment, this is catered for as well. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. ----- I've personally had dogs for over twenty years, and have the one boy, Loki, pictured, at the moment He likes canine company. I'm into walking in the bush with the dogs, or taking them to the dog park. Your dog will get a walk of at least 30-90 minutes each day, and I'm close to a bush reserve and dams. -------------------------------- If your dog is an undesexed MALE over 12 months old, it may not be possible for me to board him. Please contact me for details. My other services are still available, of course. Other than that, we're cool :)

One of the benefits of booking through pawshake is the "Peace of Mind Guarantee" that covers your dog in case of injury or emergency whilst in the care of the petsitter (me). While it is extremely unlikely it will be needed, as this is a benefit that pawshake offers to you, in the event of such an emergency, it is a condition of booking with me that any claims will be submitted by you.
In such an unlikely event I will:
1. contact you immediately on your provided phone number to discuss prior to taking action (if unable to contact you, you agree to authorise me to seek treatment);
2. Taking your dog to either one of my preferred vets, or your preferred vet if you have advised me of one - if it is convenient (ie near anough to the inner north or nearby).
3. While I will seek immediate medical attention in such an event, the initial responsibility for covering the vet fees will remain with you, while Pawshake offers to reimburse them, according to their stated policy which can be found on the homepage.
Thanks!
Any queries, always happy to discuss. ————— Very flexible with times, noting that pickups after 8pm ONLY by negotiation, thanks.
Stu and family took great care of Liquorice. They were very friendly, helpful, and happy to accommodate his quirky needs. Liquorice had an enjoyable stay and I’m sure would love to return.
Stu was very responsive and clearly loves looking after dogs. We received updates and photos. And Rosie seemed very happy there.
