Hello!

My name is Cassie and I live with my partner Bodhi and our pet Kelpie named Poppy who is just under 2.5 years old. We rescued Poppy from the Lost Dogs Home in 2017 and it had been wonderful having her in our lives!

Poppy is so fantastic with other dogs but at the moment she is the only doggo and she would love having furry friends come to visit. We initially thought about fostering but we were worried Poppy might get too attached if a dog is here for along period of time. Then we remembered using Pawshake a while back when we needed a dog sitter ourselves and thought ‘why don’t we try pet sitting?!’. So here we are giving it a go :)

Poppy has taught us a lot about dogs and dog training so we are happy to continue any training you are doing. We have a decent size back yard so your pooch and our Poppy can run around and play tug of war. We walk Poppy twice a day at a park down the road so your pooch will get plenty of exercise. We don’t go to off lead dog parks as that is our preference for Poppy but if you’d like us to take your dog to an off lead park we would be happy to accomodate.

My partner is often home during the day while I work full time (but I’m home most evenings). We‘re happy to do overnight stays and long stays up to 2 weeks, or if you just need a sitter for a day we can do that too.
