I've had extensive experience caring for various animals including dogs of varying ages and sizes, cats, rats, rabbits and birds. I have cared for my neighours pets from a young age, had my own dog growing up, when I was a nanny I cared for their puppies and through other dog sitting websites here and in England. 

I am a secondary school teacher, and so my workday ends relatively early, leaving more time to care for your pets. As with most teachers, I have a very patient and caring disposition towards children, which I would say increases when it comes to pets. I'm active and have time to care and walk them, giving them the attention that they need.

Before sitting your pet, it's important for me to know how well trained the dog is in all areas and if there is anything you're currently working on with them. What the history of the dog is like, what they would be like with other animals if on walks, children we may pass, etc. Anything that is important to know about their behaviour as well as what they enjoy. How long do they normally go for walks, how often they are let out, all of those bits of information are important.
