As you can see Rocky gets out a lot, he has lots of adventures and is so well behaved he is rarely on a lead. I have taught him how to walk, socialise, learn in a way which is both safe and fun.

Rocky is a very well natured border collie puppy and being submissive, he is very calm and good natured - he is well loved around the Community.

Rocky gets to sleep either on his dog beds and pillows, or on the couch, he gets to choose, he eats very well and gets lots of cuddles and attention all day. We have a new puppy, Reine, who is a Dalmatian. She will be the boss of the house one day and has a great personality, she is lucky to learn good behaviours off rocky, who is a great older brother and role model!We cycle, run, walk and hike. I have a WWCC and Police clearance, international and national.One of us WFH and we would typically be best to help across weekends to give more attention. We just bought Rocky about 10-15 toys as we like to keep him busy!!

A typical day is always different, it depends on the dog and the needs of the owner, it can be more subdued or more fun and that really comes down to the needs of the dog and the owner. We can walk a dog for 10 minutes, if they are a puppy or an hour if they are a bigger dog, really it depends on your dog and anything in-between. We can offer 2-3 dog walks a day, which can range in time from 10 minutes up to an hour. I can take them out running too or on a hike if you would like to really expend some energy. We are happy to take up to 3 of your dogs at a time. We are happy to give medication, whether orally or otherwise. As I said, I am able to do training with your dog (this would be at an extra cost), having taught my puppy without any puppy school and together we can groom your dog and Lex is great at doing tricks!!!!

Our house is really safe, we have a fully fenced and gated, and as you can see its a nice, big garden, so lots of play time in the fresh air. We have dog beds and a nice setup as you can see, but if your dog wants to sleep in our room too, cuddles are always welcome.

When it comes to your house we will follow all your protocols to keep your house safe as we would our own. Keeping doors shut and gates shut, checking perimeters for holes and ensuring we have all eyes on your dog and keeping them active and engaged. We can spend a 30 mins to 1 hour when house visiting but we are happy to discuss on an individual basis. This would include feeding and letting out for the toilet and playing with them, If you want walks this would be additional, but everything can be discussed&nbsp; We are best to help on the weekends, as well as morning and evenings, but can be flexible at times to help for longer periods, when they are with us, they will be part of our day and hanging with us with whatever we do.

I would say we are best suited to dogs with lots of energy :)

Hey guys, so my name is Jess and I am looking to pet sit dogs or cats. I grew up on a farm so I have been around animals my whole life and have always been an avid animal lover. Up until recently we had a small dog named Tyson who loved cuddling, but loved his walks even more. We would love to be able to pet sit while we don't have our own pet currently. I have done a lot of travel in the past so I know what it's like to need someone to look after my fur child. I have a small house with an enclosed backyard, and am very close to a decent sized oval. I can do several walks per day and most of the time I am staying with your pet or playing with your pet at home!

Having just moved to Canberra from overseas and no longer having pets, I'm super excited to join pawshake. What better way to get to know a new city, then by exploring with a four legged friend?&nbsp;I grew up having dogs (a Labrador and a Golden Retriever) a three legged cat and some chooks but in general love all animals as you can see in my pictures. Until recently I had a cat which I was really crazy about. Having a dog and working full-time sadly was too hard so I&nbsp;looked after dogs (a Husky and Labrador)&nbsp;before via an app similar to this one, back in The Netherlands.&nbsp;In my spare time I love to go for hikes and play tennis. But let's be honest, both are even more exciting when you bring a dog, right? I work full-time; however, accept boarding services 7 days a week and daycare on weekends. Pick-up and drop-off is restricted to after 4pm on weekdays due to employment commitments.

We’re a couple who truly love dogs and share our home with Milo, our very friendly 4-year-old dachshund. Milo is very social and enjoys having dog friends around, so visiting dogs usually settle in quickly with him.

One of us works mornings and the other afternoons, so your dog would rarely be alone for more than about an hour. Most of the time they’ll have company from us or from Milo, and we make sure they feel safe, relaxed and part of the home.

We treat our dog as a real member of the family, not just a pet, and we would care for your dog the same way. We know how hard it can be to leave them when you travel, so our goal is to give them a calm, loving place where they feel comfortable.

When a new dog arrives, we take time to introduce them slowly to Milo and allow them to explore the apartment at their own pace. We can provide daily walks, playtime, feeding routines, and lots of attention and cuddles. We’re also happy to follow any specific routines your dog is used to.

We live in a carpeted apartment, so we can only host small, well-trained dogs that are toilet trained and comfortable in an apartment environment.
