For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Thornlands QLD for a home day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Thornlands QLD Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer home day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Thornlands QLD sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

After caring for children & the family pets as a Nanny/Babysitter in their home for over 29 years it was an easy transittion to become a pet sitter from our home.
As I work from home now we thought it would be good for Mango to have some playmates.
We have a fully fenced & secure back yard with large trees & gardens for the doggies to play & sniff !!
They will have plenty of shade or the choice of a secure, roofed deck to laze around on.
Mango has a daybed he loves to share with at least 2 other dogs & there will be other large soft beds to curl up on. Plenty of bowls of water around.
We enjoy getting down in the yard & encourage all the pooches to join us to play ball games & a run around.
Lots of pats & cuddles.
We are happy to care for desexed & vacinated doggies.
We would like you to supply your doggies own - food, bowl, lead & bedding.
Feeding will be done seperately so everyone will eat their own food.
This will keep them all safe & happy!!
Our deck will be locked & secure for them to sleep at night or if your furbaby is an inside doggy we have a safe area indoors for them to sleep.
Meet & Greets are most important so we would make arrangements prior to dates required.
We made a decision not to care for Staffy's or X-Breed Staffy's.
Unfortunately we don't take dogs under 2 years old, no puppies.
All dogs must be toilet trained.
We don't do wee/poo mats
Must be able to go down stairs as we don't do doggy doors.

We are looking to care for kind, loving happy poochies like our beautiful boy.

Looking forward to hearing from you, Leanne, Glen & Mango.

Hi! My name is Maria, and I’m an animal lover with lifelong experience caring for dogs. I grew up surrounded by dogs of all sizes and personalities, so caring for them has always felt natural and joyful to me.

Throughout my life, I’ve cared for medium and large breeds such as Rottweilers, Dalmatians, and Labradors, as well as mixed breed rescue dogs. I’ve also participated in animal volunteer experiences, supporting and caring for dogs in need. In recent years, I’ve been the main caregiver of my Chihuahua, who is my beloved pet in my home country.

I’m excited to have the opportunity to walk, visit, or stay with your dog for as long as you wish.

I’ll be studying in the afternoons from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, which means I’m available in the mornings, evenings, and overnight to care for your pets. I’m happy to adapt to their routines, including feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, and any special care they may need.

I’m a calm, responsible, and attentive person who truly enjoys being present with animals and making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I treat every dog as if they were my own.

Hey! I'm Dan and my daughter and I are massive dog enthusiasts! We have one dog at the moment (Biscuit- Cairn Terrier/Poodle 4yrs) and he loves playing with other puppies! We are home most days as my kiddo does Distance Education so we have lots of time for furry companions!
Nearby we have Wellington Point Beach, the local dog park, and our yard is nice and grassy. We have a large space which is all doggo friendly! They will be welcome on the couches and included in everything we do!
Biscuit always goes out for his morning walk before breakfast and usually likes to go and look at the ducks in the nearby duck pond, or smell all the trees in the neighbourhood! He's a pretty lazy boy during the day so we usually just hang out together and have cuddles.
In the afternoon or early evening he has a bigger walk, sometimes to the nearby dog park, and he loves running around off leash with his friends. Biscuit is very good with other dogs when he's not on the lead but can be a bit reactive when he's sees other dogs walking by on leads. He loves having play dates in the house with dogs. We have had several visitors and they loved playing tug of war and fetch together. Usually he has some dinner just about the same time as us and enjoys a denta stix before bed (he does a little dance with it). Then before he goes to sleep, he does a final wee in the garden!
I have had many dogs over the years and lots of experience, everything from big white German Shepherd dogs to little scruffy long boys, I'm a teacher by trade but I only work one day a week, so we are usually around!
One day, we want to start a full Doggy Day Care, so this is good practise for us!
Only vaccinated pets please.

Hi there! I am a passionate, reliable, and trustworthy pet lover dedicated to giving your furry family members the best possible care. I have grown up surrounded by animals and understand that pets aren't just animals—they are cherished members of the family who deserve a safe, fun, and loving environment.
I offer comfortable boarding and day care directly inside my own home, which features a fully fenced, secure backyard with plenty of space for your dog to play safely. My household setup is quiet, calm, and smoke-free. To ensure every guest gets the absolute best attention and care, I only accept one booking at a time. Visiting pets are welcome to sleep wherever they feel most comfortable, whether that is on their own dog bed, in a cozy crate, or right in the bedroom with me. I do also have a male (desexed) Doberman that also lives with me so if any concerns about him we can make easy arrangements.
