Hello! We’re on the lookout to host puppy play dates with our 1 year old well trained and friendly mini-retriever Teddy. Puppy’s at heart are also certainly welcome, Teddy gets on well with any pup. We have a lifetime of experience with a range of dogs and our property is well suited for any sized pups.
My name is Chris (human), and Teddy (dog) and I hang out during the day on our large block in Burpengary Meadows. I work from home while Teddy does puppy things like run, sleep, chew, and sniff. He and I would love to look after your pup for a play during the day.
Your dog would be well cared for and consistently watched while I work from my home office. There is plenty of room to play, explore, and cosy places to nap when tuckered out. If things get overwhelming there is also spaces to separate the pups if they need some alone time.
Our large block is fully fenced. Teddy is up to date with his vaccinations and your dog should be too. We would prefer a brief meet-and-greet at our place before committing to a full day. We are only interested in sitting one dog per day so as not to overwhelm everyone.

I care for dogs with the same attention, love, and patience I’d want for my own. I know firsthand how hard it is to leave your dog behind—even just for a night. They’re more than pets; they’re family, full of quirks, cuddles, and companionship that can’t be replaced. That’s exactly why I do what I do.&nbsp;

I am an experienced international house sitter and started in 2015 whereby over 50 house sits have been completed in the US, UK, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand, all with 5-Star Reviews (computer date-stamped screenshots can be sent).
I am big on cats and dogs, they both sense my affection for them and come over to me straight away. People are always a bit amazed because they say "my dog usually barks at strangers for days!" or the cat is straight on my lap and usually goes into hiding. I have a few tricks with animals that make them feel non-threatened and relaxed :)
Anyway, I'm big on exercise, running the 5km parkruns weekly on Saturdays at 7:00 am so am always happy to get more walking in. I go at the best pace your dog can manage and your dog will come back and want to sleep after all the excitement. I'm very gentle with dogs because I like to let them "read" the messages in the ground if they stop to do so, this is all part of tiring them out, in my opinion and providing them with a full experience.
I'm strong so any size dog is fine and I've walked up to 3 dogs before but could easily manage more.
I grew up with cats and dogs on a farm in Africa so am very familiar with animal behaviour and can sense when something strange might happen or if a situation is not looking good. If your dog or cat has any behavioural issues I'm pretty good at 'tactfully' making suggestions that remedy the issue.
I've found that a lot of cat owners don't realize that cats require their water bowls to be cleaned out and refilled every day with fresh water, not just topped up. So I have to squeeze this into the conversation too at some stage because I care about the welfare of animals as a priority even if the owners feel a bit offended - they still need to know :)
I'm available at short notice too because I work from home but am always looking for a useful distraction especially if it involves a bit of exercise.

Would you like someone to walk your dogs or babysit your animals at home, including overnight stays. I have so many animals myself that I love and would love the opportunity to love your's too. I can come too your house, pick them up for daily walks and or play's at the park. I have an inground pool, that my dogs enjoy splashing around in, so if you dog loves swimming they can enjoy the pool or just relax around.I am available everyday to come and play, take care of or even look after them while you are away. I also have 2 beautiful girls who would love too also come and play with them at your house or take them out for walks with me or to mingle with other dogs at the park for a bit of doggie company. I do weekly trips to the beach to entertain my dogs and children, so.more than happy to bring your dogs along, or even just by themselves.I am also willing to look after cats, guinea pigs, birds and any other animals you can think of. So if you are planning some time away or just would like your dog to get out and socialise, then I am your person. If you are willing they can even come to my house for a play with our dogs too.
