For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Petrie QLD for a home day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Petrie QLD Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer home day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Petrie QLD sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

I provide the very best pet care for your furry friends while you’re away. Whether it’s a weekend getaway or a long vacation, you can trust me to keep your pets safe, comfortable, and happy in a loving environment.
Rest assured, your pet will be treated like family. I am happy to fit in with your current schedule and sleeping arrangements, if you pup likes to sleep inside on the bed then that's totally ok!
I work from home and only accept bookings on days I am home all day and night! During your stay, your pup will be walked morning and night and spend the day lazing in the sun or snoozing on the couch.
I have previous experience working with military dogs and as a pet groomer and have grown up my entire life with dogs of all sizes!
I currently have a 3 year old desexed female French Bulldog who is amazing with other dogs and loves the company and sharing her box of toys and treats!

Hey! I'm based in Dakabin and I love animals, especially dogs and cats. Spending time with them makes my day better. Every pet is different. Some dogs want to run everywhere, others prefer a slow walk and a sniff of every tree. Some cats want cuddles straight away, and others need time before they trust me. I enjoy getting to know each one.

I know it's not easy to leave your pet with someone new, so I take this seriously. I'm patient, I pay attention, and I'm happy to follow your pet's routine, whether that's walks, feeding, playtime or just some company.

While you're away, I'll send you updates (and probably a few photos!) so you can relax. I will look after your pet like they're my own.

If you think we could be a good match, I'd love to meet you and your furry friend. Send me a message!!

Hey there! I’m a total dog lover, and I’d love to take care of your pup while you’re away. Whether they need walks, playtime, belly rubs, or simply some loving company, I’ll make sure they feel happy, comfortable, and well cared for at all times.

I have experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities, including those who require daily medications or special care. I understand how important it is to follow routines closely, especially when it comes to feeding schedules and medications. I’m attentive, patient, and always happy to provide regular updates with messages and photos, so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. Whether your pup is full of energy and loves long walks or prefers to relax and enjoy extra cuddles, I’ll adjust to whatever makes them happiest.

Hi! I provide every service including: boarding, daycare, walking, home visits and house sitting for all pets! absolutely I love all animals.
My home is a house but it full of love and whatever they usually do on a daily basis, they are more than welcome to do here, whatever brings them the most comfort is my priority. This includes how often they go for walks, and how long for of course.
I'm usually available in the afternoon and evening and full available on weekends. I can take care, play and administers medications, home visits I'll stay in the afternoon and evenings with pets, if you need it, but I can go to your home to care for them in their familiar environment.
About me: I am Colombian electrical engineer man, I came to Australia to learn English, in my country I lived with my cat, dog and rabbit so I understand how important pets are for each of us and I give them all my love, I was also part of a foundation for animal rescue, if you want to know something else please do not hesitate to contact me.

I am an experienced international house sitter and started in 2015 whereby over 50 house sits have been completed in the US, UK, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand, all with 5-Star Reviews (computer date-stamped screenshots can be sent).
I am big on cats and dogs, they both sense my affection for them and come over to me straight away. People are always a bit amazed because they say "my dog usually barks at strangers for days!" or the cat is straight on my lap and usually goes into hiding. I have a few tricks with animals that make them feel non-threatened and relaxed :)
Anyway, I'm big on exercise, running the 5km parkruns weekly on Saturdays at 7:00 am so am always happy to get more walking in. I go at the best pace your dog can manage and your dog will come back and want to sleep after all the excitement. I'm very gentle with dogs because I like to let them "read" the messages in the ground if they stop to do so, this is all part of tiring them out, in my opinion and providing them with a full experience.
I'm strong so any size dog is fine and I've walked up to 3 dogs before but could easily manage more.
I grew up with cats and dogs on a farm in Africa so am very familiar with animal behaviour and can sense when something strange might happen or if a situation is not looking good. If your dog or cat has any behavioural issues I'm pretty good at 'tactfully' making suggestions that remedy the issue.
I've found that a lot of cat owners don't realize that cats require their water bowls to be cleaned out and refilled every day with fresh water, not just topped up. So I have to squeeze this into the conversation too at some stage because I care about the welfare of animals as a priority even if the owners feel a bit offended - they still need to know :)
I'm available at short notice too because I work from home but am always looking for a useful distraction especially if it involves a bit of exercise.
Thank you for considering me and reading this far!

I am a human mum of 2 teenagers - an 18 year old girl and a 16.5 year old boy and was a dog mum of 1 old lady (18yr old Maltese shitzhu) Monte was our original baby and passed away 12 months ago
I have been a kids nurse for 25 + years but only work a few days a week now and would love to fill my other days with dog walking, dog sitting, just generally dog days!
I have lots of friends and family with animals and have dog sat for many of these friends with both overnight and week long stays and love spending time on the couch with my favourite paw friends
I am home a lot during the day and am happy to have dogs here or to come to peoples houses to be their pups minder
I try to stay active on my days off and go to the gym 3 mornings a week but would love to do something on my days off from the gym. I enjoy exercise and would love to include a dog into my weekly walks to encourage me to walk more/longer!
My roster changes weekly (the benefit of working as a shift worker in a hospital!) but I am happy to provide my availability a few weeks in advance (or book off time in the near future as able)
