Hello Everyone! My name is Alex and I love animals! I grew up with a dog named Harry and hemrit crabs hahah! Our family now has a pet named Teddy :) He is a Bichon Frise and gets along with both dogs and people. We want Teddy to have a play friend and also have more cutness in our home. Speaking of our home it is fenced and quite large both inside and outside. Teddy mostly is an inside dog but Teddy and guest pets can also do a walk around outside. We have experience in taking after pets from friends pets and other pets outside of Pawshake. My parents often take Teddy to the beach on Sundays and if you are open to it we can also take another doggy with Teddy and provide pictures. In terms of what I expect from pets
Dogs only: At this stage dogs only as Teddy despite showing no signs of agression has still not interacted with other animals besides dogs and don't see the point in taking the risk.
Size: Small dogs only at this stage.&nbsp;
Temperment: Friendly dogs only. We are fine with the dogs being slow, old and quiet or young and more energetic but the pet needs to be friendly. May request to meet up beforehand. More than happy to drive to an area to see how a potential new member of the family behaves.&nbsp;
Quantity: At this stage just one pet at a time. What you can expect from myself and the family: Teddy and a member of the family at home: If I am not at home Monday to Friday my mum will be. Very rarely there is just Teddy. On the Weekends there is always someone at home and I will make sure that any pet is very loved :)Lots of hugs and kisses :)
Walks: Mum usually does the walking and I usually do the running. Dependisng on the health, age and temperment of the pet we can do either.Food: We expect bed and food to be provided however we often cook Teddy fresh chicken. If this is something you want as well in addition to the food provided to us let us know.&nbsp;
Safe: As mentioned above we have a fenced house&nbsp;
Toys: We have dog toys but open to having new toys provided to us to make any pet feel more welcome.
Sleep: Pet will be sleeping in my bed or in a dog bed. Whatever the pet prefers.&nbsp;


Hi, I’m Joseph, a recent graduate from the University of Melbourne. I’m currently available for about a month and would love to help with pet sitting if you need someone reliable and caring.

I have quite a bit of experience with dogs both in Australia and China. In Melbourne, I’ve looked after several dogs for friends, including the two I’m currently caring for — a Japanese Spitz and a Dachshund. Back in China, I raised a Maltese, so I’m very familiar with daily care, feeding, grooming, and understanding different dog personalities and needs.

Your dog can stay at my place. I live in a spacious house with a backyard, so there’s plenty of room for them to move around and relax. My friend and I both have experience with dogs, and there will always be someone around to keep them company, so they won’t feel lonely.

I always try to keep dogs on their usual routine to help them feel comfortable — regular feeding, daily walks, playtime, and lots of attention. We also have a car, so we can take them to parks for exercise. I take safety seriously, and if anything unusual happens, I’ll contact you and a vet straight away. I only accept vaccinated pets to make sure everything stays safe.

I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and will treat your dog like part of our family.

I adore my puppy. He means the world to me and my family. We love playing, walking and spoiling a pooch and can't what to share our love with your puppy!&nbsp;
We have a huge back yard which is secure with plenty of soft grass and toys.
We live in the leafy Eastern suburbs with access to lots of walking trails and parks.
We have lots of experience looking after puppies. We started pet sitting so our dog can have company because he loves playing with other puppies and we wanted to make him happy. It's an added bonus that get to have fun with extra puppies as well!
We prefer smaller puppies which have been well socialised with people and other dogs. This ensures a pleasant experience for all involved.
I work from home so your puppy won't be left alone all day  everyday. We believe that puppies are part of the family and shouldn't be left alone and isolated all day without human interaction.  This ensures they feel loved and valued.


Hello! We're Varun and Hannah, a dog-loving couple with two wonderful dogs of our own, Leo and Wolfie. We’ve both grown up with pets and have been caring for our own dogs for almost three years now. Our dogs are very happy, playful, and love each other’s company.
I currently work from home, so I’m available to look after dogs all day, every day. We have a lovely large backyard where dogs can play, run at full speed, and tire themselves out. For smaller or medium-sized dogs, we have a doggy door installed, and for larger dogs, I’m always here to open the door whenever needed. Our home is perched high up, and our dogs enjoy watching people and other dogs go by through our large windows.

ABOUT US


We live in a comfortable home with spacious indoor &amp; outdoor areas. Our front &amp; back courtyards are secure &amp; fully fenced, giving your pets plenty of space to play safely. There’s also a deck where they can relax.


There is always people at home, so your pet will receive lots of love, attention, &amp; playtime throughout the day 🤍


After careful consideration, we decided to separate areas with pet fences for easier cleaning and any accidents. We usually leave the fences open unless cleaning is required. Cleanliness &amp; safety are our top priorities in our home. We vacuum twice or more a day &amp; mop every 2 days to maintain a clean, pet-friendly environment.


We walk the dogs 1–2 times a day, depending on the weather. There are several local parks, off-leash areas &amp; reserves just a couple of minutes from our house. We like to switch up our route &amp; visit different spots nearby to keep things fun &amp; interesting for the dogs. On rainy days, there’s plenty of space indoors for play &amp; activities.





We found how much we truly enjoy the joy that pets bring &amp; the trust their parents place in us. Seeing how happy &amp; excited the dogs are when they return to our home made us realise this is what we love.

In short, I'm a MAD pet lover! I grew up with one cat (Persian) and 2 dogs (Cocker Spaniel &amp; Pomeranian), I have to say I can't be the person I am today without them! I've certainly learnt to be a more responsible, patient and caring person because of these little furry friends.&nbsp;
