For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Pakenham VIC for a home day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Pakenham VIC Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer home day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Pakenham VIC sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

Hi! We are a caring, dog-loving household experienced in looking after puppies and small dogs. We understand how important it is to leave your pet in a safe and reliable environment, and we treat every dog as part of our family. We have a small, friendly toy Moodle named Scooby who gets along well with other dogs. He is gentle and helps new dogs settle in, especially those who may feel shy or nervous. We only host a maximum of two dogs at a time, so each dog receives plenty of attention and supervision. Dogs are not left alone for long periods, as someone is usually home to care for them. Our home environment is calm and secure. While our yard is not fully open for unsupervised roaming, all outdoor time is fully supervised, and dogs are always kept safe. We also ensure doors and entry points are secure at all times.A typical day includes:Morning toilet break and feedingShort walk or playtime (depending on your dog’s needs)Regular outdoor breaks throughout the daySupervised play, rest, and indoor timeEvening feeding and wind-down routineWe usually provide 1–2 short walks per day for dogs that require it, and plenty of indoor play and enrichment. For nervous dogs, we take a gentle and patient approach—giving them space, keeping routines consistent, and using calm reassurance to help them settle at their own pace.We are comfortable with basic training reinforcement (such as toilet training and simple commands) and can also administer medications if clear instructions are provided.Your dog’s safety is our priority. In case of an emergency, we will contact you immediately and take your pet to your preferred vet or the nearest clinic if needed. We are best suited for puppies and small dogs and take extra care to ensure they feel safe, relaxed, and happy while you’re away.We would love to meet you and your dog before the booking to make sure it’s a great fit for everyone.

Hi! I’m Sydney, a lifelong dog lover and experienced carer.

Dogs have been a huge part of my life. I’m a former puppy raiser with Guide Dogs Victoria, so I’ve had hands-on experience raising and caring for puppies of all ages, temperaments and training needs. Whether they’re energetic puppies or calm, mature dogs, I understand the importance of providing patient, consistent care in a safe and comfortable environment tailored to each dog’s unique personality.

Over the years, I’ve cared for a range of breeds, including larger dogs like German Shepherds. I currently live with a very friendly and affectionate Golden Retriever x Labrador named Anwyn. She is super friendly with other dogs and humans, and would be thrilled to have another furry friend to play with!

We have a large, secured backyard with plenty of space for dogs to run and play, making it perfect for pups who love being outside!

I currently offer:
Doggy day care (full and half day)
Overnight boarding
Daily photo and video updates for your peace of mind

I treat every dog as if they were my own and make sure they feel calm, safe and loved while in my care.

I’m flexible with bookings and available weekdays, weeknights and even during the holiday period.

I believe in maintaining a safe and healthy environment, therefore I can only accept vaccinated pets. This will ensure that all pets under my care are protected and give you a peace of mind.

Reach out anytime to chat or organise a free meet-and-greet—let’s make sure it’s the perfect fit for your furry friend!

Hi! I’m a caring and reliable animal lover with a genuine passion for looking after pets as if they were my own. My motivation to become a pet sitter comes from the joy and comfort animals bring into our lives, and I understand how important it is for pet owners to feel completely at ease knowing their furry family members are in safe, loving hands.
I have a 7-month-old Border Collie named Kaia, who is fully vaccinated, extremely friendly with other dogs, and full of energy, intelligence, and affection. Raising Kaia has given me valuable hands-on experience with structured routines, training, and meeting the needs of active dogs.
A typical day includes morning and evening walks, regular toilet breaks, feeding based on your pet’s routine, and plenty of supervised playtime and interaction throughout the day. Pets are rarely left alone, and if I do step out, it is only for short periods (generally no more than 2–3 hours). I also have a Furbo pet camera at home, which allows me to monitor pets and stay aware of their behaviour at all times.
My home is fully fenced, providing a secure space for dogs to safely enjoy outdoor time. Safety is always my top priority, and I ensure all pets are supervised and exercised appropriately.
I’m comfortable administering basic medications (such as oral tablets or drops) if needed and always follow your instructions carefully. I also tailor my care to suit each dog’s personality and energy level—whether they are playful and active like Kaia or prefer a calmer, more relaxed environment.
I have experience caring for pets for friends and family and can confidently manage multiple dogs by introducing them slowly and ensuring they are compatible and comfortable together.
Your pet’s wellbeing, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priority.

The love and affection that a four legged furry friends provide is unmatched and having a Labrador puppy at home just gives me more reasons to host your companion. I have been around Pets and have previously cared for my friends dogs during their times of need. Working from home gives me and my wife lots of flexibility and your dog will be looked after in a nice and cozy house with backyard available to run and play. We also have different zones that we can create around the house so we could make sure your pets get their naps and free time during the day after every play session.
Fully vaccinated pets only. He has his basic obedience completed and is getting more and more comfortable around other human beings and animals. He likes to play fetch and we take him for walks daily. He gets along with other dogs without any issues and loves to play with them.
Looking forward to assisting you in the near future.

Hi, I'm Chelsea – the face behind Little Paws!
I'm 29 years old and launched Little Paws in 2022 to offer caring, reliable pet sitting and dog walking services. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of connecting with amazing pet owners through platforms like Pawshake, helping them ensure their furry (or scaly!) friends are happy, healthy, and well cared for.
My love for animals runs deep—I grew up on a farm surrounded by all kinds of creatures. My family were registered breeders and dog show enthusiasts, and I spent my teenage years working as a stable hand with racehorses. Today, I share my home with dogs, cats, and reptiles, and I truly enjoy working with animals of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments.
I hold a Certificate in Canine Psychology, Behaviour and Training, and bring years of hands-on pet care experience to every job. Whether your pet is big, small, shy, energetic, or has special needs, I’m here to provide dedicated, compassionate care tailored to them.
When I'm not looking after pets, you’ll find me in the garden—my second love! In the future, I hope to further my studies in Animal Care or Veterinary Nursing to continue growing in this field I’m so passionate about.
Thank you for considering Little Paws—I look forward to meeting you and your beloved pets!
