Hey guys, so my name is Jess and I am looking to pet sit dogs or cats. I grew up on a farm so I have been around animals my whole life and have always been an avid animal lover. Up until recently we had a small dog named Tyson who loved cuddling, but loved his walks even more. We would love to be able to pet sit while we don't have our own pet currently. I have done a lot of travel in the past so I know what it's like to need someone to look after my fur child. I have a small house with an enclosed backyard, and am very close to a decent sized oval. I am happy to accommodate any needs wherever I can so just swing me a message and I would be happy to help! My name is Sandy, I’m a student at ANU currently and I enjoy spending time with animals! I enjoy playing with and caring for dogs a lot! I don't own a dog since the time isn't good for me because I'm an international student studying in Australia. But I would adore taking care of yours! What service do I provide? I provide Dog Boarding (your pet staying at my home for 24 hours) and Doggy Day Care (your pet staying at my home during day time)! I live in Woden 2026 ACT. There is no backyard in my apartment, only a balcony, and your pet will sleep indoors with me! There is no children and no pets at my home. I can do several walks per day and most of the time I am staying with your pet or playing with your pet at home!

Having just moved to Canberra from overseas and no longer having pets, I'm super excited to join pawshake. What better way to get to know a new city, then by exploring with a four legged friend?&nbsp;I grew up having dogs (a Labrador and a Golden Retriever) a three legged cat and some chooks but in general love all animals as you can see in my pictures. Until recently I had a cat which I was really crazy about. Having a dog and working full-time sadly was too hard so I&nbsp;looked after dogs (a Husky and Labrador)&nbsp;before via an app similar to this one, back in The Netherlands.&nbsp;In my spare time I love to go for hikes and play tennis. But let's be honest, both are even more exciting when you bring a dog, right? With dogs I love to go for long walks, a swim, or a play in the park but I'm also happy to go for a shorter walk and some cuddles if your dog might be a bit older or less active.&nbsp;I'm a social and easy going guy and love dogs that are social and easy going too. Hello! I’m an animal-lover and new to pet sitting, having recently lost my 12 year old Rottweiler to illness. I understand that being away from your pets can be stressful — I truly understand. I can provide a calm and caring environment with plenty of enrichment, attention, and love. Your pet’s wellbeing is priority!
I'm happy to accept all ages and personalities — from playful puppies (holiday periods and weekend only) and curious kittens to older pets who may need gentle care or medication. I’m attentive, reliable, and committed to keeping routines consistent so your pet feels secure and comfortable. 
I work full-time; however, accept boarding services 7 days a week and daycare on weekends. Pick-up and drop-off is restricted to after 4pm on weekdays due to employment commitments.
* Currently not accepting pets that like to dig, as I am repairing my lawn from recent care of 2 little diggers.

We’re a couple who truly love dogs and share our home with Milo, our very friendly 4-year-old dachshund. Milo is very social and enjoys having dog friends around, so visiting dogs usually settle in quickly with him.

One of us works mornings and the other afternoons, so your dog would rarely be alone for more than about an hour. Most of the time they’ll have company from us or from Milo, and we make sure they feel safe, relaxed and part of the home.

We treat our dog as a real member of the family, not just a pet, and we would care for your dog the same way. We know how hard it can be to leave them when you travel, so our goal is to give them a calm, loving place where they feel comfortable.

When a new dog arrives, we take time to introduce them slowly to Milo and allow them to explore the apartment at their own pace. We can provide daily walks, playtime, feeding routines, and lots of attention and cuddles. We’re also happy to follow any specific routines your dog is used to.

We live in a carpeted apartment, so we can only host small, well-trained dogs that are toilet trained and comfortable in an apartment environment.
