About me: I am a biologist and I work from home 100% of the time. I live in a house with a large garden. My family consist of Jacquie (my wife), and my two kids, who are 14 and 16. We also have a 3-year-old kelpie/border collie named Kelpi.&nbsp;
I am open to care after any dogs, big and small. For overnight stays, please let me know your prefered dates, as I need to organise for someone to look after our dog while your dog stays here. I prefer look after just one dog at a time, to help avoid any potential conflicts between dogs. This means that when your dog stays at our home, he will be the only dog in the house and will have the house and large garden all for his own. While your dog stays under our care, he will have exclusive and full access to our garden and to the inside of our house. He can sleep inside or outside of the house,  as he chooses, and he will have our full attention. I will also be happy to take your dog for a walk or or a run to a park or the river, wherever suits best. Just let me know what your pup likes the most and I will do my best to accommodate. I also take care of your dog's meals and can take him grooming or for a bath (at PetBarn) if desired (extra cost).&nbsp;

Though I can’t have a pet of my own right now, I absolutely love spending time with animals, and I’d care for yours as if they were mine. 
I’ve looked after cats for friends and family, including an English Shorthair (feeding, litter, playtime) and lived with a domestic cat for over a year — helping with brushing, litter, and the occasional shower (though I prefer to skip the bath unless your kitty is super chill!). I’m happy to walk your dog in whatever area they’re used to — whether it’s a stroll around the block, a fun visit to the park, or a quiet nature trail. I’ll always follow your preferences and keep your pup safe and happy. I usually keep dogs on leash during walks unless the owner gives clear permission and the dog is well-trained for off-leash areas.&nbsp;


I have lots of experience over the years looking after my friends’ and family’s furry friends. This ranges from dogs who are crazy energetic and love long walks and playtime, to the more relaxed older pups who just want company, a head rub and most importantly- to be fed!. I am comfortable  with feeding, walking, playtime, sticking to schedules, and giving pets the attention they’re used to when their owners are away.
