Hi! We’re Sebastian and Fernando, a Colombian-Brazilian couple living in Brisbane who love spending time with dogs. We’ve cared for pets over the past years, mostly for friends, and now we’re excited to offer our services through Pawshake.

Fernando is a qualified vet from Brazil, so we bring not just love but also experience in animal care and well-being.

We live in a spacious apartment in Toowong with a safe, sunny balcony. We also have a large car for walks or short trips.

Our days off together are Sunday and Monday, and we work alternating schedules during the week — so someone is almost always home with your pet.

We mainly offer daytime sitting in our home, but we’re also happy to care for your pet for a few days or even a full week if you’re away.

As a mum of five humans (ages 7 to 15) and a very proud mumma to two absolutely adored dogs, chaos, cuddles, and unconditional love are just part of my everyday life.  There’s almost always someone around ready to give your pet a pat, a cuddle, or a bit of extra attention.I know firsthand how hard it is to trust someone with your fur babies—I use a pet sitter myself, so I get it. You want someone who treats your pets like family, not just a job… and that’s exactly what I do. Expect belly rubs, chats, playtime, and plenty of “who’s a good boy/girl?!” moments.We offer overnight stays at our place, check-ins at yours, and day sitting during school holidays—flexible care to suit you and your pet’s needs.We also make sure your pets stay comfortable and safe in the Queensland heat—walks are done early in the morning or later in the evening when it’s cooler, and outdoor water bowls are refreshed at least twice a day (more often on those extra hot days).To help your pet feel right at home, dogs are welcome inside if they’re toilet trained, and we even have a doggy door they can use. They’re welcome to sleep inside or outside—whatever they’re used to. We also have a shaded patio area with a fan where they can relax and stay cool. And if your pet prefers some quiet time, we can easily create a calm, cosy space just for them.When we welcome a visiting pet into our home, we do our best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and accommodated as part of our family. We will feed visiting pets separately and, if needed, keep them separate from our own dogs to ensure everyone feels secure and relaxed. We do prefer dogs to be desexed.Before the first stay, I would love to arrange a meet-and-greet at your home so your fur baby can get to know me, and I can also learn more about them, their routine, and their surroundings.Pets can be supervised both inside and outside the home. We have cameras around and inside the house so we can keep an eye on them at all times, even if we are in another room.Our yard is fully fenced and includes a separate fenced-off area on the left-hand side, which is perfect for separate feeding, quiet time, or giving pets their own space if needed. Our fences are high and secure, and we also have dig-proof barriers in place near the smaller side gate for extra safety.Now, full honesty… I have a soft spot for about 90% of pets If it has eight legs, a stinger, or slithers… we might need to have a quick chat first Otherwise, your pets will be loved, spoiled, and cared for just like my own—because that’s exactly what they deserve.

Hi, I’m Nicki!

I’m a reliable, caring dog sitter and walker with a genuine love for dogs of all sizes and personalities. While I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I’m always looking for my next doggy fix and absolutely love spending time with furry friends.

I’m an avid walker and would be more than happy to help burn off your dog’s energy with long, enjoyable walks. I work full-time, but I’m available for early morning and evening walks, as well as weekends. I also work from home a few days a week and would be able to welcome your pups on the odd occasion.&nbsp;

I know how important it is to feel confident leaving your pet in safe, loving hands. I treat every dog as if they were my own, offering fun walks, playtime, plenty of cuddles, and lots of attention. Your dog’s comfort, happiness, and wellbeing always come first.

I live in West End and own my apartment. I’m able to take small dogs for overnight stays, though I prefer house-sitting and caring for your dog in the comfort of their own home.

I was an animal shelter volunteer for 8 months at a shelter in Singapore and am an animal welfare enthusiast. You can be sure that I will treat your pet and family with utmost respect and care.
At the shelter, volunteers are trained over 2 weekends on how to walk, leash, bathe, feed and overall handling of dogs. As such, i have had experience of handling dogs of varying sizes.
Right now I have availability on the weekends to dogsit if you need the 2 days to getaway. 
I have dog-sat for my neighbours and friends. My references:  My ex neighbour had full trust and faith in my dog-sitting abilities and even passed me a key for safekeeping! I am able to provide references from 2 dog owners- one is my ex-neighbour and the other is a friend, both for whom i have dog-sat (Harley) and house-sat (Lucky) for. Happy to giev your their numbers for a chat. 
Please note my house is not available for pet sitting. However, i am able to watch your dog at your house during the day and overnight (should the location of your home be a reasonable distance form the Annerley) I do not have kids or dogs of my own. I can also do house-visit for your cats. 
I am really good with walking dogs giving good scratches and pats. I love the company of dogs and have so for as long as i can remember and am waiting for my house to be completed before I get my first Samoyed!


Hi! I'm Esther, currently a Master’s student in Animal Science at the University of Queensland. With a keen interest in companion animal behaviour and reptile husbandry. I would be more than happy to help out when you are not able to care for your pet.
Growing up, I was surrounded by many animal family members, including African Miniature Hedgehog, Cockatiel, Beagle, Chinese Field Cat, Hamster, Leopard Gecko, and Chinese Tortoises. Since the age of 13, I have been volunteering with a local stray rescue organization as a pet adopter and rescuer. I also spent a lot of time after school watching dog shows and reading books to learn about different breeds of dogs. During my undergraduate studies, I worked as a keeper’s assistant at a zoo and spent 12 months volunteering at a wildlife rescue center during every summer/winter break. These experiences have given me a deeper understanding of how to properly relate to companion animals and care for small reptiles.
Currently, I have a long-haired rabbit and a bearded dragon at my home in China. When I miss my animals, I often visit the uni’s vet clinic to walk the greyhounds, and give them a cuddle.
