We’re passionate animal lovers with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and birds. Lena works from home and volunteering at the RSPCA as a dog walker and kennel cleaner. Tim is a university student studying from home, and work part time, so your pet will enjoy company and attention all day long.

 Our Services
We offer the following services:
Pet sitting in your home or ours: We’re flexible—whether your pet feels more at ease at home or would enjoy a stay with us, we’ll make sure they feel safe and loved.
Daily walks and playtime: We offer 1–2 walks per day, around 30–45 minutes each, tailored to your dog’s energy level and needs.
Feeding, medication, and grooming: We can follow any feeding schedule, administer oral or topical medications, and offer light grooming such as brushing and cleaning.
Basic training: We’re happy to reinforce basic commands and routines during your pet’s stay.
House care while you’re away: We’ll water plants, collect mail, and keep your home clean and tidy.
Photo and update service: We send regular updates and photos so you can relax while you're away.

 Our Home Environment
We live in a clean, non-smoking home with no other pets.
Guest pets are welcome to sleep wherever they’re most comfortable—we provide cozy bedding in quiet spaces, or they can sleep in their own bed or crate if preferred.
Our backyard is secure, fully fenced, and safe, perfect for supervised playtime and toilet breaks.
There’s also a large park just 5 minutes away, ideal for longer walks.

I am a passionate animal lover with over 5 years of experience as a dedicated pet sitter, caring for a wide range of furry (and feathered!) friends. I’ve looked after dogs of all sizes and personalities, including poodles, golden retrievers, labradors, border collies, cocker spaniels and beagles, as well as cats, guinea pigs and birds. Hey guys, so my name is Jess and I am looking to pet sit dogs or cats. I grew up on a farm so I have been around animals my whole life and have always been an avid animal lover. Up until recently we had a small dog named Tyson who loved cuddling, but loved his walks even more. We would love to be able to pet sit while we don't have our own pet currently. I have done a lot of travel in the past so I know what it's like to need someone to look after my fur child. I have a small house with an enclosed backyard, and am very close to a decent sized oval. There is no backyard in my apartment, only a balcony, and your pet will sleep indoors with me! There is no children and no pets at my home. I can do several walks per day and most of the time I am staying with your pet or playing with your pet at home!

I work full-time; however, accept boarding services 7 days a week and daycare on weekends. Pick-up and drop-off is restricted to after 4pm on weekdays due to employment commitments.

What’s included: My primary focus is Puppy Daycare and socialization. I offer supervised play, basic command reinforcement (sitting, staying, walking on a lead), and potty training support.
To ensure high-quality care and safety, I only host one guest dog at a time (alongside my Mini Spoodle).
I provide two 30-minute walks per day—one in the morning and one in the late afternoon—to the nearby parks in Queanbeyan East.
Daily Routine: Pet care is the heart of my daily schedule. As a professional who works primarily from home, my routine is built around structured play, rest, and outdoor breaks.
• Availability: I am available Monday through Friday for daycare and select weekends for boarding.
• Supervision: I work from home, meaning I am physically present throughout the day. I do not leave guest pets alone for more than 1 hour during daycare, meeting all safety requirements. I can provide 24/7 supervision during boarding stays.
The ground-floor unit at Queanbeyan East, is uniquely conducive to puppy daycare. Its layout allows for seamless, stair-free access to the outdoors, while the communal rear courtyard provides a safe, fenced space for fresh air and supervised play. Whether it’s reinforcing basic training or ensuring a consistent routine, my home offers a professional, reliable, and "paw-approved" space where puppies can thrive while their owners are away. Having just moved to Canberra from overseas and no longer having pets, I'm super excited to join pawshake. What better way to get to know a new city, then by exploring with a four legged friend?&nbsp;I grew up having dogs (a Labrador and a Golden Retriever) a three legged cat and some chooks but in general love all animals as you can see in my pictures. Until recently I had a cat which I was really crazy about. Having a dog and working full-time sadly was too hard so I&nbsp;looked after dogs (a Husky and Labrador)&nbsp;before via an app similar to this one, back in The Netherlands.&nbsp;In my spare time I love to go for hikes and play tennis. But let's be honest, both are even more exciting when you bring a dog, right? With dogs I love to go for long walks, a swim, or a play in the park but I'm also happy to go for a shorter walk and some cuddles if your dog might be a bit older or less active.&nbsp;I'm a social and easy going guy and love dogs that are social and easy going too. We’re a couple who truly love dogs and share our home with Milo, our very friendly 4-year-old dachshund. Milo is very social and enjoys having dog friends around, so visiting dogs usually settle in quickly with him.

One of us works mornings and the other afternoons, so your dog would rarely be alone for more than about an hour. Most of the time they’ll have company from us or from Milo, and we make sure they feel safe, relaxed and part of the home.

We treat our dog as a real member of the family, not just a pet, and we would care for your dog the same way. We know how hard it can be to leave them when you travel, so our goal is to give them a calm, loving place where they feel comfortable.

When a new dog arrives, we take time to introduce them slowly to Milo and allow them to explore the apartment at their own pace. We can provide daily walks, playtime, feeding routines, and lots of attention and cuddles. We’re also happy to follow any specific routines your dog is used to.

We live in a carpeted apartment, so we can only host small, well-trained dogs that are toilet trained and comfortable in an apartment environment.
