I have been pet sitting for 5 years and have experience with big and small dogs. I have a big house and a big backyard that is completely fenced off into sections so you can have peace of mind that your dog is safe and sound with me.&nbsp;
I have 2 dog parks right around the corner also and a nice park to take the dogs for a walk around. I sleep with the dogs indoors close to me to ensure they are ok 24/7 unless you specifically request for the dog to sleep outside. It is an honour to take care of your pooch! I am open to different owners' requests and would like to make you and your little pet feel as happy and content as possible when in my care!  I will send updates and pictures thoughout the time I am caring for your animal. I've always loved animals and get huge joy from being around them and seem to always "get" them; mum and dad used to call me Dr. Doolittle growing up!
While I've had small animals my whole life - dogs, cats, fish, chickens, guinea pigs, even axylotls, I've also worked extensively with sheep and dairy cattle in Ireland, so I'm adept and comfortable with medication, injected or oral.
As a sitter, I make your pet's comfort and happiness my priority; I'm confident and gentle with nervous animals, can amp it up for the extroverts out there and can snuggle like no one's business.
Our family dog was an abused rescue pup. Bringing him up means a couple of things; firstly, I understand and can work with the various fears and neuroses that can crop up for your fur babies. Secondly, I value and have seen the benefit of a firm, gentle, positive reinforcement style of training. If you're working on training your kitten or puppy I will get on board with your method and uphold it during visits and walks.
As a teen I volunteered at Taronga Zoo so I've done a bit of insect and reptile handling (but I'll need a specific rundown for your pet!)
For doggy daycare, my home is secured with roller door and gate, so dogs can enjoy the big backyard with no risk of escaping. We'll go for one big walk a day, plus plenty of snuggles.&nbsp;

I have experience with puppies, medium and large breed dogs such as labrador retriever and maltipoo and tailor each stay to suit each dog’s personality, routine, and energy level. I strongly prefer a meet-and-greet before the booking so everyone can get comfortable — especially important for dogs staying in a new environment.They’ll be sharing space with Cooper, our gentle and friendly dog, and Luna, our playful and cheeky puppy. Both are well socialised and used to having visiting dogs. Playtime is always supervised, with a good balance of activity and calm downtime. I encourage crate time for quality rest and sleep, especially for puppies or dogs who need help switching off — crates are used positively and never as punishment.Expect regular photo updates, walks, feeds, enrichment play, and plenty of cuddles. I treat every dog like family and make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.
