For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Chirnside Park VIC for a home day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Chirnside Park VIC Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer home day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Chirnside Park VIC sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

Hi pet mums and dads!
I'm Thanh, a young professional and a purrr-fessional when it comes to looking after your furry friends.
With years of experience from growing up with dog of all sizes and temperments, I have an absolute passion for animals and understand every pet has their unique needs. As for my lifestyle, I work full-time but majority of it is done remotely (not in the office). Being a homebody, I love spending time indoors and only step out from time-to-time to go on walks or run errands, allowing the rest of my time to spend entertaining and caring for your pet.
There are lots of dog-friendly areas in my neighbourhood and I enjoy going on daily walks to the nearby lake and shops. I currently live away from my family and pets and have so much love, attention and belly rubs to offer a four-legged friend!
From daily check-ins to overnight stays, rest assured your pets are in loving hands, receiving updates and affection as if they were my own. Let's chat about how I can provide the best care for your beloved pets!

Hi, I'm Carina and together with my husband Sebastian we will take care of your beloved dog/s. Our family consists of 2 adults, 2 teenage children and our youngest who is 5 years old.
We have 2 small dogs, 2 cats and we've had fur babies for over 20 years. We're very experienced with small breeds and understand how precious your fur babies are to you. We will treat them like our own, giving them all the love and attention they deserve.
We work from home and have plenty of time to care, nurture and entertain your precious dog/s. We live in Templestowe in a secure 2 storey home, with our staircase closed off with a child safety gate.
We have a medium sized grass backyard that is fully secured with 2 locked gates and fenced throughout. There's a large undercover area, however our dogs and yours will always be sleeping inside a warm heated home in winter and an air-conditioned one in summer.
We are 150 metres away from Green Gully Linear Park, a dog friendly reserve where our dogs love to stretch their legs and have a good sniff around. For the nightly rate we'd happily love to walk your dog as part of our care.
Our dogs are always fed home cooked meals and with your permission we'd love to spoil your dog/s also.
We look forward to meeting you and your furry baby. X

Animals have always been at the heart of my life. Growing up, I had dogs that became my closest companions, and that bond never left me. Since moving to Australia, I haven't had a pet of my own — but my love for animals, especially dogs, has only grown stronger. That's exactly why I'd love to care for yours.
I understand how hard it is to leave your pet with someone new. As someone who misses having a dog deeply, I promise to treat your pet not just as a responsibility, but as family. Your dog will get genuine love, attention, and care — not just a service.
I'm calm, patient, and attentive to animals' needs. I know every pet has its own personality, routines, and quirks, and I take the time to understand what makes each one feel safe and happy.
I'm committed to responsible pet care — I'm happy to discuss your pet's health, vaccinations, and any special needs beforehand to make sure they're in the best hands.

Hi! We are a caring, dog-loving family who truly understands how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family member. We have had two small dogs for many years, and they are treated as part of our family, receiving daily care, attention, and lots of love.
Guest dogs follow a structured but relaxed routine, regular feeding times, and plenty of supervised play and rest. Dogs are never left alone for long periods, and we provide constant supervision throughout the day. We only host a small number of dogs at a time to ensure each one receives the attention, care, and affection they deserve.
We introduce dogs slowly and carefully, especially for those who may feel nervous or anxious, giving them time and space to settle at their own pace.
Dogs sleep indoors in a safe, warm space in their own bed so they feel at home. Our property is secure with a fenced yard, and your dog’s safety and wellbeing are always our top priority.
Our goal is simple: to provide a safe, loving environment where your dog feels at home and you have complete peace of mind.

Hello Everyone! My name is Alex and I love animals! I grew up with a dog named Harry and hemrit crabs hahah! Our family now has a pet named Teddy :) He is a Bichon Frise and gets along with both dogs and people. We want Teddy to have a play friend and also have more cutness in our home. Speaking of our home it is fenced and quite large both inside and outside. Teddy mostly is an inside dog but Teddy and guest pets can also do a walk around outside. We have experience in taking after pets from friends pets and other pets outside of Pawshake. My parents often take Teddy to the beach on Sundays and if you are open to it we can also take another doggy with Teddy and provide pictures. In terms of what I expect from pets
Dogs only: At this stage dogs only as Teddy despite showing no signs of agression has still not interacted with other animals besides dogs and don't see the point in taking the risk.
Size: Small dogs only at this stage.
Temperment: Friendly dogs only. We are fine with the dogs being slow, old and quiet or young and more energetic but the pet needs to be friendly. May request to meet up beforehand. More than happy to drive to an area to see how a potential new member of the family behaves.
Quantity: At this stage just one pet at a time. What you can expect from myself and the family: Teddy and a member of the family at home: If I am not at home Monday to Friday my mum will be. Very rarely there is just Teddy. On the Weekends there is always someone at home and I will make sure that any pet is very loved :)Lots of hugs and kisses :)
Walks: Mum usually does the walking and I usually do the running. Dependisng on the health, age and temperment of the pet we can do either.Food: We expect bed and food to be provided however we often cook Teddy fresh chicken. If this is something you want as well in addition to the food provided to us let us know.
Safe: As mentioned above we have a fenced house
Toys: We have dog toys but open to having new toys provided to us to make any pet feel more welcome.
Sleep: Pet will be sleeping in my bed or in a dog bed. Whatever the pet prefers.

I adore my puppy. He means the world to me and my family. We love playing, walking and spoiling a pooch and can't what to share our love with your puppy!
We have a huge back yard which is secure with plenty of soft grass and toys.
We live in the leafy Eastern suburbs with access to lots of walking trails and parks.
We have lots of experience looking after puppies. We started pet sitting so our dog can have company because he loves playing with other puppies and we wanted to make him happy. It's an added bonus that get to have fun with extra puppies as well!
We prefer smaller puppies which have been well socialised with people and other dogs. This ensures a pleasant experience for all involved.
I work from home so your puppy won't be left alone all day everyday. We believe that puppies are part of the family and shouldn't be left alone and isolated all day without human interaction. This ensures they feel loved and valued.

Please read before making a booking request thank you

ABOUT US

We live in a comfortable home with spacious indoor & outdoor areas. Our front & back courtyards are secure & fully fenced, giving your pets plenty of space to play safely. There’s also a deck where they can relax.

There is always people at home, so your pet will receive lots of love, attention, & playtime throughout the day 🤍

After careful consideration, we decided to separate areas with pet fences for easier cleaning and any accidents. We usually leave the fences open unless cleaning is required. Cleanliness & safety are our top priorities in our home. We vacuum twice or more a day & mop every 2 days to maintain a clean, pet-friendly environment.

We walk the dogs 1–2 times a day, depending on the weather. There are several local parks, off-leash areas & reserves just a couple of minutes from our house. We like to switch up our route & visit different spots nearby to keep things fun & interesting for the dogs. On rainy days, there’s plenty of space indoors for play & activities.

We found how much we truly enjoy the joy that pets bring & the trust their parents place in us. Seeing how happy & excited the dogs are when they return to our home made us realise this is what we love.

Thank you & we're excited to meet your pet and offer them a home away from home while you’re away ️

HOUSE VISIT

Approximately approximately 30 mins (no walking)

Hi there! I'm Dyan (pronounced day-Ann), and I have grown up with animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with both dogs and cats, and that early exposure taught me to read body language and respect boundaries. I've had cats of my own for years, handling everything from bath time and vet visits to trimming their nails myself, so I know the small routines that keep a cat or dog calm and comfortable even when their owner isn't around. I've also spent years looking after my neighbours' dogs (Great Danes/Labradors/Pugs/Retrievers/Saint Bernards), walking them, bathing them, and even accompanying them to vet appointments when their owners couldn't be there.
Each visit typically includes feeding, fresh water, a play or cuddle session, a toilet break or walk (for dogs), a quick check-in on their overall wellbeing, any small maintenance, making sure their medication (if any) is administered correctly and efficiently, and I'll always let you know how things went.
That hands-on, long-term experience means I'm comfortable with the everyday realities of pet care, not just the fun parts. I offer in-home visits at your place rather than boarding, so your pet stays in their own familiar environment with their routines, smells, and comforts intact.
