Hi there my name is Michelle, and I love animals...especially dogs!
My husband and I just moved to Australia recently and can't wait to get involved with some doggies here!
I grew up with a number of pets including a dog, who was called Ginger, a hampster, and other various animals along the way (The fish was the least interactive pet- much prefered the dog!).
My parents often took in foster dogs and puppies, so I was constantly around dogs. I have worked for other platfrom, a Canadian company that offers dog walking and dog sitting. I have taken care of many breeds from labs, dauschounds, terriers, greyhounds, pointers, doodles, etc! The doodles/bernadoodles are my fav, they just have such a lovely disposition and seem to get along with everyone. I have my own lovely doodle named Nello- though he's more of a rug/ teddy bear than a dog.
Anyway, love to give a dog some good exercise- with the odd treat. Positive behaviour reinforcement!
I am able to do 30-60 minutes for a walk. If it is a home visit between 1-3 hours. Would prefer to have 1 dog at once, or 2 dogs from the same home is also ok.
Happy to run with the dog, or go for a long scenic walk, or even a frisbee toss!
I believe a dog that is well exercised, and shown affection is the happiest kind of dog (and usually better behaved!)

I work from home, so your pet won’t be left alone for long periods. Our home is safe and secure, with fenced outdoor spaces, quiet streets for walking, and several parks and dog-friendly areas nearby.

I am from Penang, Malaysia. Just settled down in Mackay since March 2023. Was a doctor back in Malaysia but would rather now enjoy my life while my husband is still working as a doctor at the Base Hospital.
I enjoy spending time with my pets at back at Malaysia. Used to have a dog but it passed away due to old age. I previously found a sick stray cat outside my house back in Malaysia and adopted him.I'm unable to bring him here from Malaysia due to tight regulations and I am really sad about it. This is also one the reason I want to be a petsitter in Australia. It's so that I can still be surrounded by lovely pets.
I wish to have pet lovers as friends and I will really love my time spent with pets.&nbsp;
I stay with my husband in a fully fenced house with a small yard.
My schedule is mostly flexible as I am a home baker currently and I will stay with your pets the whole day.

Pet Boarding/day careYour furbabies stay at my place. Pets are allowed indoors and outdoors. Will bring them out for frequent car rides and walks at different areas (parks, gardens, beaches, etc), or as per owner's preference. If required, am able to bring pets out for grooming as well (at owner's expense).
House SittingI stay at your place where your furbabies are more comfortable in a familiar environment. Walks and grooming as per above in "pet boarding". Please do provide a room for me to sleep/stay overnight in this case. My husband may also come over when he is off work to play with the furbabies and care for them together with me.
Home visitsI will be staying with them for a few hours and play with them is what I usually do. I will also walk the dog according to the usual timing of preferrence.&nbsp;
Dog walkingMinimum 30 minutes&nbsp;
I will usually organise a meet up before accepting bookings.&nbsp;
Pet things to prepare or bring- Bed and blanket- Bowls- Food- Treats- Lead/harness - Toys- Poo bags- Wet wipes (as I like to keep them clean after a walk)- Pads (if not properly toilet trained)- For cats: scratching post, litter box, cat litter

I offer dog boarding in my home for overnight or longer stays during the week or weekends and can offer daycare on the weekends. I am mostly at home throughout the day. I grew up on a farm and am used to being around different animals and taking care of their needs.&nbsp;
I absolutely love dogs and have two active Jack Russells, Pebbles and Pretzel, who walk twice daily. We live on a quarter acre in Buderim with a fully fenced back yard for dogs to run, play and explore as well as go for car rides to the beach.&nbsp;
My home has a dog door for easy inside/ outside access for dogs and they can sleep safely inside or out.&nbsp;
I can also administer oral medication.&nbsp;
Your dogs would need to be completely toilet trained  and able to use a doggie door and up to date with tick protection, as my home is adjacent to the rainforest.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Hello! My name is Ashleigh. I am a 30 year old female who works full time as a registered nurse. I am a passionate animal lover, living in a small rental which houses my two beloved elderly Guinea pigs and two leafy stick insects. I have always had animals in my life, whether that be in my home or at my friends' places, farms and properties. I was raised partially on a farm with many animals and wildlife around, which required a great deal of TLC! In terms of pet sitting, I have pet sit many times for my friends and family (cats and dogs mainly), but have looked after birds in the past too. Working in the healthcare field can be emotionally exhausting and I take great joy in being outdoors and amongst our beautiful wildlife. Animals are a great gift to us, and will be treated as such! 

Haha, in all seriousness I have an incredible connection when it comes interacting with dogs, cats and anything inbetween. I've grown up with many dogs in the past from rottweilers to golden retrievers and corgis to malamutes, no dog is excluded in my eyes and everyone deserves love and attention.
I find this opportunity to be both a learning experience as well as a sense of joy. I may not have previous experience with "Pawshake" however, I've had many experiences with animals regardless and everyone needs to start somewhere in becoming a sitter right?&nbsp;
