My Lifestyle &amp; Your Dog’s Routine
I work from home full-time, which is a major advantage for your furry friend. They will never be left alone or crated for long hours; instead, they’ll become my little "office assistant," napping by my desk or playing nearby while I work. If your dog has separation anxiety or simply craves constant human company, they will find plenty of it here. I believe in maintaining a consistent routine, mirroring whatever schedule they have at home to keep them feeling secure and happy.
A Secure &amp; Sunny Space
Your pup will have full access to my home and a 30sqm backyard that is completely secured with high fencing. One of the best features of my place is that it catches the sunlight all day long—perfect for those "solar-powered" afternoon naps that small dogs love so much. When we aren't relaxing in the yard, we are exploring the local parks nearby for daily "sniffaris." I prioritize safety and communication, so you can expect regular photo updates of your pup enjoying their sunny Melbourne staycation!


Hello Everyone! My name is Alex and I love animals! I grew up with a dog named Harry and hemrit crabs hahah! Our family now has a pet named Teddy :) He is a Bichon Frise and gets along with both dogs and people. We want Teddy to have a play friend and also have more cutness in our home. Speaking of our home it is fenced and quite large both inside and outside. Teddy mostly is an inside dog but Teddy and guest pets can also do a walk around outside. We have experience in taking after pets from friends pets and other pets outside of Pawshake. My parents often take Teddy to the beach on Sundays and if you are open to it we can also take another doggy with Teddy and provide pictures. In terms of what I expect from pets
Dogs only: At this stage dogs only as Teddy despite showing no signs of agression has still not interacted with other animals besides dogs and don't see the point in taking the risk.
Size: Small dogs only at this stage.&nbsp;
Temperment: Friendly dogs only. We are fine with the dogs being slow, old and quiet or young and more energetic but the pet needs to be friendly. May request to meet up beforehand. More than happy to drive to an area to see how a potential new member of the family behaves.&nbsp;
Quantity: At this stage just one pet at a time. What you can expect from myself and the family: Teddy and a member of the family at home: If I am not at home Monday to Friday my mum will be. Very rarely there is just Teddy. On the Weekends there is always someone at home and I will make sure that any pet is very loved :)Lots of hugs and kisses :)
Walks: Mum usually does the walking and I usually do the running. Dependisng on the health, age and temperment of the pet we can do either.Food: We expect bed and food to be provided however we often cook Teddy fresh chicken. If this is something you want as well in addition to the food provided to us let us know.&nbsp;
Safe: As mentioned above we have a fenced house&nbsp;
Toys: We have dog toys but open to having new toys provided to us to make any pet feel more welcome.
Sleep: Pet will be sleeping in my bed or in a dog bed. Whatever the pet prefers.&nbsp;

I live in Pakenham in a townhouse with a small yard. All dogs staying at my home would get a 2 complimentary 30 min walks with Lulu in the Tooumac Valley. I do not allow dogs that I look after off lead unless they know me well and have good recall.
My main motivation to become a pet sitter is my love for animals, they feel comfortable with my presence and I am a hard worker who always commits to the work based on your specific needs. 
Yes I have had 5 years of petsitting experience - now that my rotti is not here I am more available for pet sitting at your home or my home.

In short, I'm a MAD pet lover! I grew up with one cat (Persian) and 2 dogs (Cocker Spaniel &amp; Pomeranian), I have to say I can't be the person I am today without them! I've certainly learnt to be a more responsible, patient and caring person because of these little furry friends.&nbsp;
I believe that animals have feelings and emotions too, so I always treat them with respect and care.Though my parents didn't approve of me being a vet when I was younger, my love for animals never ceases. I always volunteer to look after my friends' pets when the opportunity arises.&nbsp;
