For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Bedford Park SA for a home day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Bedford Park SA Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer home day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Bedford Park SA sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

My name is Marjorie, I am from Ecuador, I am a business student at a university and a passionate lover of animals and nature. At 27 years old, I have been surrounded by animals my entire life, including dogs, cats, rabbits, pigs, and fish. My experience extends beyond personal pets; I have cared for neighbors' and friends' pets for up to three weeks at a time. Additionally, I have volunteered at shelters and veterinary clinics in my home country.
My motivation as a pet caregiver stems from my desire to connect with animals and provide them with a positive experience. Whether it's taking them for a walk, playing with them, or simply ensuring their safety and comfort.
Regarding my availability, I am usually available in the afternoons every day, as well as weekends and some weekdays, although this schedule may vary from week to week.
In terms of services, I offer:

General pet care.
Walking.
Bathing.
Basic grooming tailored to the specific needs of each animal.

I can also provide:

Home visits for a couple of hours or stay overnight forseveral days if needed.
Additionally, I am willing to take on tasks such aswatering plants during my visits.

While I am unable to bring animals into my home due to certain limitations, I am dedicated to ensuring the well-being of pets in their own environment.
My commitment to their happiness and safety is unwavering, and I approach each caregiving opportunity with enthusiasm and dedication.

Hi there! My name is Courtnay! I have so much love for animals and love meeting new four legged friends. Two and a half years ago I moved to Australia from Canada, where I was naturally the pet sitter for all my friends and coworkers. Not having a dog myself yet, this has helped fill the void until I can have a beautiful pet companion of my own! I'm happiest with animals and I love getting to know new pets. I'll take all the time they need and deserve for walks, nature adventures, cuddles, pets, and play! I understand an animal's care for it's owner is a unique bond and time apart can create challenges, so I always aim to care for animals to the highest regard and try to keep their routine as close to normal while their owners are away. I have plenty of experience with different breeds of dogs, cats, and varying behaviours and needs an animal may have. Happy to meet each pet where they are at and make the most of our times together!About my home and duty of care: I am happy to host in my own home or yours. I aim to keep the animals routine as close to their normal as possible. Long or short walks, play time, beach, a hike in the woods away from other animals - whatever they need. If a dog needs quiet time and cuddles, or just a play inside or jn the yard that'd great too! Need support training? Let me know their needs and I'll keep it up. I have experience with senior dogs having to give medication as well so I am comfortable with that too.I live just south of the CBD and I work full time as a primary school teacher in the Eastern suburbs. For care provided in the week, I will do early morning walks/plays and make my way back to the animal(s) right after work. However please note that during the work week (unless school holidays) I am unable to provide daytime car and the animals must be able to be left for 8 hours. Thank you!

I am a cat lover and I have had cats almost all my life. Currently I have few cats of my own and one foster cat. I have helped to rescue stray cats including with vet care and fostering. I have recently retired from my full time job and am happy to help cat owners in need by providing loving and safe environment. I can offer home visits to look after your cat(s) or host your cat(s) in my house where they will receive lots of love and entertainment. My back yard is fully secured with cat net and I have a spare room which is turned into cats playground. My own cats are very friendly but I am able to keep visiting pets fully separately if preferred (they would have their own room). Your cat(s) will be in good hands should you wish to contact me!

Growing up surrounded by animals of all shapes and sizes, especially dogs, from newfoundlands to dachshunds i love them all, I’ve developed a deep passion for providing exceptional care to pets. My journey has taken me from working in animal sanctuaries across Asia to sponsoring a dog’s journey to the UK, each experience reinforcing my commitment to ensuring animals feel loved, safe, and well cared for.

As a student and part-time worker just recently moved to Adelaide, I have the flexibility to adapt to your pet’s needs, whether it’s prioritizing daily walks, sticking to routines, or simply providing companionship. I am very adaptable and can offer various services from walks to check ins to house sits anything I am very flexible just pop me a message please, or if you have any questions too, thanks for your time!

I prioritize the safety and health of all animals in my care and only accept vaccinated pets into my home. My goal is to give your furry friends the love and attention they deserve while you’re away!

Hi,
I am new to this platform but I have experience taking care of other dogs as a dog sitter. I have a border collie myself so I truly understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and reliable to care for your beloved pets. I’m confident in handling various situations and ensuring your pet feels safe, happy, and loved.

My Home Environment:
My home is a clean, pet-friendly space where pets are welcome in all areas. We have a fully fenced yard for them to chill or run around. We also have some toys that they can play with.

Availability/service:
We are currently available on Tue and Thu for daycare and weekend stays. I offer daily walks, each lasting 30-90minutes, tailored to your dog’s energy level and needs. We won't be taking more than 3 dogs each time.
We can also take care animals like cats, rabbits, hamsters... however all animals MUST be well trained and well behaved.
We also accept last minute bookings.

Hi! My name is Elizabeth, and I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up on a farm surrounded by dogs, cats, and horses, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I truly enjoy their company — talking to them, playing, and making sure they feel loved and safe.

I have plenty of experience looking after different pets. In Sydney, I cared for my niece’s ferret, and back home in Argentina, I looked after my own dogs, as well as friends’ pets including parrots, cats, and dogs of all sizes.

Now I live in a comfortable house with a patio, where pets can enjoy fresh air and space to play. I’m very patient, caring, and responsible, and I always treat every animal as if they were my own. I’m happy to offer walks, playtime, baths, and any special care your pet may need.

My motivation for becoming a pet sitter and dog walker comes from my genuine love for animals and the joy I get from caring for them. I understand how important it is for pet owners to feel confident that their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while they are away. I take this responsibility seriously and always treat pets in my care as if they were my own, with patience, kindness, and attention to their individual needs.
I am a responsible, calm, and reliable adult who enjoys an active lifestyle and spending time outdoors. I live in a quiet, pet-friendly neighbourhood within walking distance of Morialta Reserve, which offers beautiful walking trails, open green spaces, and a nearby creek. These areas provide excellent opportunities for safe, enriching dog walks with plenty of mental and physical stimulation.
I have previous experience caring for dogs and other pets, including feeding, walking, playtime, basic grooming, and maintaining routines set by owners. I am comfortable administering oral medication when clear instructions are provided. I do not offer professional training, but I reinforce positive behaviour.
For the safety and wellbeing of all pets, I only accept fully vaccinated animals. I offer dog walking, home visits and daycare services. Dog walks typically last between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on your dog’s needs, and take place around my local parks and reserve trails. Pets are never left alone longer than a few minutes during daycare.
Pet care fits easily into my daily routine, allowing me to spend most of my time supervising and interacting with guest pets. I am able to provide a high level of supervision throughout the day and can accommodate flexible schedules. My home is clean, calm, and pet-friendly, with space for pets to relax. Guest pets are welcome to sleep indoors in a safe, comfortable area, following their usual routines where possible.
If offering home visits or house sitting, I stay long enough to feed, walk, play with pets, clean up, and provide companionship. I am also happy to water plants and bring in mail. During house sitting, I respect your home, keep doors and gates secured, and maintain your usual routines to ensure both your pet and your home remain safe and cared for.
My goal is always to provide loving, reliable care and peace of mind. I would love the opportunity to look after your pet and make their time away from you as comfortable and stress-free as possible

How Much Time I Spend
I believe pets deserve more than just a quick check-in. During house visits, I spend quality one-on-one time with your pet, ensuring they receive plenty of attention, enrichment, and care—not just the essentials. For overnight stays, your pet will enjoy companionship throughout the evening, overnight, and morning, helping them feel safe and relaxed while you're away.
My Home Setup
If your pet stays with me, they'll be welcomed into a clean, safe, and pet-friendly home where they'll be treated like part of the family. They'll have plenty of space to relax, play, and receive lots of attention throughout the day. I keep a calm environment, follow your pet's normal routine as closely as possible, and can separate pets if needed to ensure everyone feels comfortable and secure.
I look forward to meeting you and your wonderful pets!

Hi there! I'm Vanina, from Argentina, I'm 34 years old.I always had pets, my first puppy was a cocker spaniel named Lara, then Melody arrived, another super loving cocker spaniel and later Lissy arrived, a playful and affectionate poodle who is 11 years old.
