Happy New Year from Pawshake Australia!

It’s been a pretty big 2014 for us all since we launched mid-year. In a few short months we’ve gathered over 1000 pet sitters from all over the country - from Alphington, VIC, to Zillmere, QLD - and we’ve managed a MASSIVE Summer pet minding season.

Under the guidance of Pawshake’s founders Dries and Tanguy, with me here in Sydney and my awesome co-worker Jess in Melbourne we’re planning to make Pawshake Australia an even bigger and better community in 2015!

To join us, you can now follow PawshakeAU on Twitter and Instagram, as well as being a part of our fantastic Facebook fan page. We’ve got the Pawshake app, newly redesigned for Android and iOS, that you can download so that you’re always in touch with your pet sitters or pet owners (or just so you can check the always updating Wall of Paws for an endless stream of cute pet pics). And there are more services to come...

The Pawshake Australia team in 2015 is:

Ally

Ally has been the Pawshake Ambassador for NSW since Pawshake’s launch in mid 2014. Finally living her dream job as a work-from-home writer and web developer (and pet sitter!), Ally lives in the Inner West of Sydney with her partner Max and super fluffy kitty Tiger. She enjoys sitting in the park with a picnic and a beer, then wandering to the off-leash dog section to make friends with other people’s puppies. Basically her days are consumed by looking at animals on the internet, writing about animals on the internet, talking to people about animals, and hanging out with animals. She also likes superhero movies and terrible rom-coms. You can visit Ally's profile here.

Jessica

Jess signed up in early January to become the Pawshake Ambassador for Victoria! Originally from Newcastle, NSW, Jessica now resides in Melbourne with her partner John and shy black cat Ben. She graduated from Drama School at the end of 2013 and has been performing in Melbourne and Sydney since, with Pawshake on the side to keep things interesting! She loves exploring the cafes and markets of Melbourne, going to the theatre, writing, rehearsing and curling up at the end of the day with a good book and Ben on her lap. You can visit Jessica's profile here.

We’re looking forward to meeting as many Pawshakers as we can this year! Thanks for checking us out - hopefully one of us will be able to meet up with you soon.
