Hi I am Sunne!! I am a university student with a flexible schedule so I’m perfectly suited to be a pet sitter because I can easily adapt my time to fit pet care around my studies. I absolutely love all kinds of animals, especially big dogs, and I have a cat of my own who I adore, feel free to check out his pictures on my profile! I’m happy to stay at your place to ensure your pets are comfortable in their own environment, and I welcome regular bookings if you need ongoing support.

Whether it’s a one-time visit, a lovely walk or regular care, my goal is to tailor my approach to match each pet's unique personality and needs, giving you peace of mind while you're away. To build trust and provide you with peace of mind, we can organise a meet and greet for you and your pet/s free of charge!

Q&A

Q: Are you available for regular bookings?

A: Absolutely! I welcome regular bookings and can work around my university schedule to accommodate your needs. 

Q: What information do you need to know about a pet before accepting a booking?

A: Before any booking I would like to know if your pet has any concerning behavioural issues. Any special requirements that need to be met. Just anything I should know! 

Q: Do you have experience with different types of pets?

A: Yes, I love animals of all sizes and have a special fondness for big dogs. I also own a cat who I adore. My experience is diverse, from playful puppies to senior cats. 

Q: Where will you walk my dog? Please tell us about the nearby parks.

A: I love to go on walks at Oleigh part or Davies park, which run along Brisbane river. I have access to a car so any parks you want to recommend also work :) 

Q: How do you handle pets that are less affectionate or shy?

A: I adjust my approach based on the pet’s personality. For less affectionate pets, I know when to give space and I focus on engaging activities like walks or play to ensure they feel loved and cared for without overwhelming them.

Q:What is the estimated time that you will spend with my pet each day?

Pet sitting: As I am a uni student, on an accepted booking, I stay at your home for most, if not the entire day to take care of your pet, and the entire night.

Walks: I try to aim for 45 minutes minimum! However I will always go at your pet's pace! A little less if they are older and might struggle, longer if they are full of energy!

Visits: Each check-in will be a minimum of 30 minutes, with lots of cuddles and play.  

Q: Are you able to do other tasks during a visit/pet sitting booking?

A: Simple tasks like watering your plants, checking the mailbox, litter box cleaning, etc. are really no problem, please just let me know! 

Q: What is your policy on updates during pet sitting?

A: I believe in keeping you informed and connected. I provide regular updates with photos and texts, so you know how your pet is doing while you're away.

Q: What is your approach to emergency situations?

A: I am prepared to handle emergencies and will follow your specified procedures, including contacting your vet if necessary. I keep all important contact information and medical details handy to ensure a quick response. If your beloved pet has any health concerns, please let me know beforehand so I can best prepare in an emergency situation. 

Q: Can you administer medication to pets if required?

A: Yes, I am experienced in administering both oral and topical medications as per your instructions. I always ensure to follow your guidelines carefully to maintain your pet’s health and comfort.

Q: Do you take pets to their veterinary appointments?

A: I can assist with transporting your pets to veterinary appointments if scheduled during a pet sitting booking. Please let me know in advance so I can arrange my schedule accordingly.

Q: How do you ensure the safety and security of the pets in your care?

A: Safety is my top priority. I ensure that all doors and gates are securely locked, and I am cautious during walks to keep your pets safe from other animals and traffic. I also make sure that your pet’s environment is safe and hazard-free.

Q: How do you manage multiple pets at once?

A: I am experienced in caring for multiple pets and can effectively manage their needs simultaneously. I grew up with three dogs! I ensure each pet receives individual attention and care tailored to their specific needs.

Q: Are there any pets you don’t sit for?

I am quite a small person so massive dogs I cannot take for walks especially if they have no leash manners!
