Hello I am a qualified and experienced zoo keeper pet sitting in your home only at the current period. I am availble weekends only:

Friday to Sunday night. I charge $90 a night for 24 hour care, and that includes up to a maximum of 6 animals of any species. As I am qualified and experienced zoo keeper, you will receive a high level of care for your animals.

 I am an experienced dog trainer and can assist in behavioural training as well. As I have looked after many species of animals you can trust me with keeping your pets safe, healthy and stimulated. I will look after other species of animal as well. Do love cats, have experience with fish and reptiles and birds as well.

For when I am in your home:

The fee is for 24 hours, please dont go outside these times on your return. terminating on Monday morning as I have a full time job to go to Monday to Friday. 

This is for when the dogs are in my home:

Please bring their beds and toys. I can buy them food but this must be organised in advance. Bring your vet details or I will use my vet. The emergency care vet 24 hours is 5 minutes from me in Fyans st. 

They do need to be toilet trained (unless babies ) as they need to be in the house as well as outside. I do not leave dogs in the backyard without me being home. They either come with me or in the back of the house for safety. While at my house the maximum time alone is one hour while I am the gym. During that time they are in the back of the house where it's cool and safe. 

They will sleep in the house with me and will not be left alone in the garden without supervision. I am experienced in medication and some aspects of vet nursing so this will suit people with medical pets. I am very fit so can walk high energy dogs and will teach them to swim in warmer seasons. 

I am able to do overnight stays at my house Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday nights. I am in east Geelong/ city of Geelong so close for inner city people. 

Dogs will need to be socially acceptable to other dogs if we house more than one, to a maximum of four on any one night. If you need it just to be your dog or dogs please consult with me and we can work it out. I have had working dogs and have trained kelpies, blue heelers, corgis, Belgian shepherds, ridgebacks, terriers, shepherds, collies and Staffordshires and American pit bulls. 

The house is small but I'll keep the dogs entertained and with me the whole time, walking, driving with me, watching movies, cooking things and going to the beach. The yard is lawn with a concrete apron with east shade and not large. I don't rely on dogs needing large yards, they need to exercise their migratory genes and walk from place to place every day. It irons out most behaviours if you give them what they need. I had a working short haired border collie off a farm in London. He lived in a flat with us and was never bored or destructive because we mentally challenged him. 

If you have very large dogs I'll reduce to two a night as the house is not large. If they know each other and you have more than two large dogs talk to me and we can work it out. 

Transport.

I have a fully air conditioned van for transport.

Dogs are tethered to floor bolts in the van or crates for their safety in transit. The van is open to the driver so I can see them and talk to them. I can do drop off pick ups some vet visits but I work full time elsewhere so check my availability. 

Other animals

I have worked with birds, fish, frogs, Reptiles, invertebrates and large mammals such as rhinos, giraffes, antelopes and camels. I have references if required, a police check and include a copy of my zoo keeping trade certificate. 

When am I available? 

Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday nights including Friday Saturday Sunday day times. Prices are for a 24 hour period. You need to pick up your pet at the end or just before that window and not after please. If you need Me to drop them off and pick up I can do for extra fee.
