About Kayla
Hello! My name is Kayla, I am 18 years old and (of course) I love pets! I have a dog, a spider, and two rats, and I have a few months experience walking a dog for an elderly lady who could no longer walk herself. The end goal for me is to be a zookeeper, but for now I'm studying a Cert. 2 in Animal Care at TAFE. I also currently work at Petbarn.
I can give medication orally and topically. I can stay up to 1 hour for home visits, and I can also look after houseplants and/or bring in the mail. A walk with me can last up to 40 minutes, but I can do less based on your dog's physical needs. I have a basic understanding of training methods such as positive reinforcement, and can do some light training if needed. I look forward to meeting you and your pet!
