Hi, my name is Chelsea! I live alone and work part time (just 3 short nights a week!) which means I have a lot of free time on my hands. I am a huge animal lover; I have had dogs all my life right up to moving over from England 4 years ago and let’s be honest, life isn't even half as good without animal company, which is why I have found myself as a Pawshake Pet Host!

I loved and cared for 4 dogs and a cat of my own back in England and over the past 4 years here In Aus I’ve taken care of multiple gorgeous dogs here at my home so I deeply understand what animals needs in order to feel happy, loved and healthy. I also have a valid Police Check and so you can be sure that your animals will be safe, adored and exceptionally taken care of in my company! 

 I live alone with no other pets in a warm, spacious and pet-safe home directly across the street from a beautiful park and just 10 minutes from the beach, there is also a small secure outdoor area where pets always seem to love to lounge and sunbathe! I already have dog beds set up in the bedroom, living room and outside area as well as feeding/water bowls, toys and treats so (unless you wish to) there is no need to bring your own! I am also happy for pets to sleep in my bedroom or in bed with me if that is what they are used to because I like to create a routine for each pet I care for that mirrors the routine they have at home to ensure minimal disruption and stress for both the animal and owner! 

Unless you prefer otherwise, any dog that stays with me is taken on 2 long walks a day (a minimum of 1 hour morning and night) as well as short walks to the local dog park every couple of hours for bathroom breaks. Whenever an animal is under my care I do like to keep them company round the clock so for pet daycare your pet will not be left alone AT ALL and for longer pet stays (multiple weeks) generally the only time they will be alone is the odd hour when i go to the gym, supermarket etc and the 3 nights a week that i go to work (during which they are usually asleep anyway). 

I am very flexible and generally am available any time and at short notice. Currently I only accept 1 pet at a time however can make exceptions for small/medium well behaved pets that come from the same home.
