Hi, I'm Sophie and I'm a huge dog lover! I'd love to care for your animals (mainly dogs but am happy to also help out with other animals). I'm originally from Boston, and since moving to Australia I've been really missing spending a lot of time with dogs. I miss those puppy cuddles and kisses! Every chance I get I dog sit for friends, but I'm looking to spend even more time with pups! I've spent my whole life taking care of dogs. I've lived with many different dogs, including a German Shepherd, a kelpie, a Shetland sheepdog, a schipperke, and more. I also volunteered in an animal shelter for several years helping to take care of the dogs and cats (playing with them and cleaning up after them). I've learned that every dog is special and wonderful in their own way. I have experience with all kinds of dogs including rescue dogs, tiny puppies, and senior pups. I'm also very comfortable with anxious/nervous dogs, and am happy to help work with behaviour. If you are in the process of training your dog, feel free to let me know what you're working on and I'll gladly continue it on my visits. I'm comfortable walking and caring for dogs of all sizes, and am happy to help administer medicine (I'm no stranger to hiding pills in cheese!). I'm currently not allowed to have a pet of my own where I live, so I'm turning to the next best thing! Enlist me to take care of your precious furbabies and I promise to love and care for them like my own. I'm happy to take them on long walks around the neighborhood, to explore different parks and paths, or to come care for them in your home! I'm also comfortable with caring for other animals, as I also grew up with cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and hamsters.

I want to help you and your pets, however you may need! Each service can be tailored to individual situations, and depend a lot on the type and number of animals and additional needs. I want to make this work for you! If you're looking for a dog walker, you've come to the right place. Dog walks vary in timing depending on the weather (I don't want to keep a dog outside for too long if it's hot), but are approximately 45 minutes of romping around. I'm happy to do longer or shorter walks depending on each individual animal's needs. Please feel free to tell me any quirks, needs, or concerns for your individual pet. Home visits vary in time depending on what's needed, and include a check in on the dog, some play time, optional training reinforcements, and feeding or medication delivery as needed.
