Hi! I'm Natasha, a stay at home mum to a toddler and live with my husband and our 9 year old pup, Flip. I absolutely LOVE dogs and haven't met one I didn't get along with.
Please note:
- We only accept toddler/kid friendly dogs. This is to ensure the safety of our son and your dog. A meet and greet prior to the booking must be organised.
- Your dog must come with their bedding, food and bowls.
- Your dog must have up to date vaccinations.
- We offer dog boarding and doggy daycare only.
- A meet and greet must be organised prior to finalising any bookings.
Being a stay at home mum means your pup will have me to keep them company at all times. My husband works from home twice a week and my mum is over most days of the week, so theres lots of people to keep your pooch company. Our lovely dog Flip can be a little grumpy at the start (must be an age thing), but he warms up quickly. He usually very relaxed and can be found chasing the sunny spots to sleep in the backyard. My husband and I have regularly looked after our friend's dogs over the years. Our son is also very comfortable with dogs, but of course he is always supervised closely when interacting with dogs (including our own).
We have a good sized 2 bedroom unit, with an outdoor granny flat as well. We have a large, fully fenced grassy backyard, as well as a lovely covered area for hot/wet days. Having said that, our Flip is absolutely an inside dog and so will your dog, if they choose to. We have plenty of walking paths around as well as on/off leash parks within walking distance. Darebin parklands and Merri creek are only a short 7-10 minute drive from us and we often take Flip there for long walks.
We understand that every dog is different and will take the time and effort to learn from you and understand how to make them feel comfortable with us. If your dog requires special assistance, diet or training, we are more than happy to continue the work whilst in our care. I'm also happy to administer medication if required.
You can be assured your dog will be kept safe and will be loved like our own. They will accompany us on our daily walks and visits to the park. If your dog is comfortable with social settings like cafes and playgrounds, we would love to take them along as well.
