Hi, my name is Shawna and I am recent graduate from Macquarie University and also the mother of a 6 year-old Corgi (Miru).
Miru is a Welsh Corgi and is very friendly and loving to other furry friends and even kids!. I really love dogs and have experience in pet boarding (13 times) small to medium sized dogs. Miru and I very much enjoyed our time with every furry friend we've had the opportunity to meet, and hence we are still in contact with the owners of these lovely dogs. I currently live in an apartment with Miru (no room mates! Just miru and I live there) , but we go for walks atleast two times a day and also love going for picnics every week (We often go to Rhodes waterside walkway, off-leash park in Ermington, Ron routley off-leash park in Concord, Olympic Park and off-leash park near the CBD by the water). As I annually visit Korea and having to leave my bestfriend, I completely understand the worries of owners having to leave their beloved friend while they are abroad. I love taking photos of Miru and can promise that i will be sending many of photos of our furry friends having a joyful time together.
**doggie day care or boarding**
I spend 20hrs to 24hrs with your fur friend! (Not working at the moments!) Which means i can take care your friend all the time with my best! And also pick up/ drop off time would be super flexible.
We go out for a walk twice in a day (morning and night) 30mins to 1hr each! But walking time would be changed due to weather or dog’s conditions.
Miru is sleeping with me in a same bed (its a queen size bed) and other dogs have slept in a same bed as well! But if the owner or dog does not want to sleep in a same bed with me, there are two doggie beds and one kennel for your friend.
** if you want doggie day care i can provide a pick-up / drop off service for extra cost. Price will be calculated based on the distance. **

If I could give Shawna 12 star rating, I will! This was the first time I left my dog with someone outside of family, and I think Shawna became a family now!!! She was so thoughtful, caring, loving seater to my pooch and the best dog therapist for me because she made me feel safe about my dog and took all the worries away. She send many pictures and videos and updates. She and her bf and friend and of course Miru made my dog feel like at home! I was very scared and worried but Shawna gave me a piece of mind!!! She is the best!!!
A huge thank you to Shawna for taking care of Doug while we were away!
Shawna was quick and easy to communicate with, provided updates and pictures of Doug and her wonderful dog Miru as they played and hung out so we would feel comfortable and at ease while Doug was staying over.
Shawna was also attentive, caring, mindful and kept with Doug's routines.
This was our first experience with Pawshake and we couldn't have asked for a better person to leave Doug with.
