Hello.
My name's Leah....I'm 40 years old and self-employed, currently offering my services of dog-walking and pet/house-sitting. I have many years of pet and house minding experience, and currently looking for more in the Melbourne north and inner north (Thornbury, Preston, Reservoir, Collingwood, Brunswick East, Fairfield, Clifton Hill, Northcote, Fitzroy etc).
I love animals and grew up with a variety of them in my family home and hobby farm (cats, cows, dogs, chickens).
I am kind, trustworthy, honest, reliable, relaxed, and responsible.
If it's dog-walking that you are after, my walks generally go for 1-1.25 hours for $40. I only walk your dog/dogs, not multiple (though totally respect those that walk 8 dogs at a time, it's definitely a skill!).
As part of my pet-sitting services, I offer regular updates/photos of your pet, as well as all the other services of garden/plant watering, mail collection, bins in-and-out, dog walking. If doing a longer pet-sit, I also like to give your house a general clean before you return (i.e. general tidy, dust, wipe down, vacuum, mop).

Leah was fantastic! She did a wonderful job with my senior arthritic dog, who adored her. She also had to deal with a senior cat who thinks it’s appropriate to pee on puppy pee pads rather than a litter tray, another senior cat who has the loudest and demanding meow and two middle aged cats that are scared of their own shadow. They were all happy and content on our return and the house was immaculate. I could not recommend Leah enough.
Leah was amazing, it was our first time using Pawshake and Leahs communication was excellent, keeping us updated with photos everyday and kept our dog very happy and on plenty of walks. The house was also left spotless, we would definitely use Leah again!
