The main reason I am a pet sitter is because my biggest pet peeve (haha) is having a dog locked inside all day. I believe we all need some fresh air and company so that's why I am here!

I grew up with dogs my entire life. Since the age of three I have been surrounded by standard poodles teaching them how to behave and play :) As a dog lover and self proclaimed "dog whisper" I have cared for many dogs, from puppies to seniors. Listening is the service I provide. Whether dog walking or sitting, I always pay careful attention to the dogs wants and needs.

For dog walks, this includes up to 3 dog walks a day (long or short) with no more than two dogs at once.

For dog sitting or hosting, I work from home and love taking breaks outside so your pup will get plenty of attention and fresh air. I have plenty of space with a Persian floor mattress, couch, yoga mat, and bed available as a dog bed. I only have one housemate who is also an animal lover. There is a small patio in the back for quick outside access, but most outside time will be walking the canal or the park near the farmers market which is across the street

I am experienced with sensitive situations where age, injuries, or disease has made life and mobility challenging. I know how to slow down and take it easy with these circumstances. I am familiar with providing oral and topical medication, serving a special diet, and giving (or not giving) treats.

I also offer additional training services including: on-leash walking (healing), off-leash walking nearby, swimming, running, play, fetch, and lay down (chill). Please ask if you are interested!

I really enjoy connecting with these creatures and would love to have one of my own, but I am only in Melbourne for a few years for a PhD program. I work from home most days and would love to walk or look after your pup!

Be warned, the last two dogs I sat for more than 5 days didn't want to go back home with their owners, true stories :)
