Hello, welcome and thanks for checking out my profile. 

I am a dedicated petsitter with a profound love for animals and appreciate helping people have a relaxed time away knowing their pets are in good hand.

 I have been petsitting extensively over the past 3 years and have had the privilege to be living in various homes with pets. Growing up I was fortunate to have pets as part of my family and I used to volunteer in a dog shelter a few years back. All of this has provided me with invaluable hands-on experience in pet care, knowledge about different behaviours and a genuine passion for ensuring the well-being of your furry companions. I have looked after and cared for all kinds of breeds, old animals as well as young energetic puppies that still needed a little help with training.

While most dogs are loving human company and affection, cats can be a bit more independent and/or shy. In recent years I have developed a particularly strong bond with cats. It's been a joy to witness the unique personalities of each feline friend I've encountered. Owners are often surprised at how quickly cats warm up to me, and I take great pride in earning their trust and affection.

I am a very affectioned, loving and caring person with a calm and patient demeanour. If you pets are up for it, they will be showered with cuddles and if its allowed in your household, they can sleep in the bed with me.

Feeding and exercise will be done as close as possible to what your animals are used to. You going away will already be somewhat stressful for your fur babies and it is important to me that they have their normal routine and can bond with me quickly and feel most comfortable. 

I will keep you updated on how your pets are settling in with me and send you pictures and videos over the time that you are gone. It might not be every day, but if it is important to you to hear from me and see them every day I am more than happy to do so. 

I have given oral medication and taken pets to their scheduled vet appointment before and if needed I am happy to give injections if you show me how. 

For the past 23 years I have also looked after lots of children and cleaned houses so I can assure you that I am used to being in other people’s homes and will treat your property and belongings (as well as obviously your pets) with the utmost respect and will leave your house spotless for your return.
