Hi! My name is Mirrin and my experience comes from my personal life, volunteering and working with dogs.

I have had pets my whole life, cats and dogs of all sizes. I am very comfortable interacting with animals and even in more difficult living situations I have taken up foster care. I have taken care of cats, kittens and dogs. It's important to get to know the animals you are fostering and provided for their specific needs. I have been able to give animals specific diets and medication.

I volunteered with the RSPCA at Wacol, where I completed basic animal handling training for cats and dogs. I am very familiar with cleaning up after animals and keeping stress levels low. I also have learnt a lot of great tips and tricks for enrichment in cats and dogs. On top of this, my job working around lots of peoples yards, means I am very comfortable approaching dogs and interacting with them.

I did some training with a dog walking company with multi dog walks in dog parks. This taught me a lot about how to monitor dog interactions and keep control of multiple dogs at once. I know the importance of building a solid bond with the dog you are walking and establishing a good recall early on.

What's included?

Walk - I will walk the dog in your local area and typically average around 45minutes per walk but it depends on the dog and conditions on the day. I will source local parks, tracks, etc.

House visit - I can feed, exercise and administer most medications. I will send you pics and happy to also take out bins, bring in mail and water plants. I can wash pets as needed.

Sitting at owners house - I will maintain a clean house and do general tasks. I can exercise for upto an hour a day and administer most medication. I cannot be at the home 24/7 and need to continue my work. Happy to wash pets as needed.
