Based on current advice from the ACT Government and the Chief Medical Officer, I will be recommencing dog walking and home visit services ONLY at this stage. I will not be providing in-home pet and house sitting services at this time.

All services will be undertaken whilst maintaining strict social distancing and hygiene practices, including maintaining 1.5m distance from clients and using single-use sterile gloves when handling animals and equipment.

All clients will be required to confirm they are not unwell, nor vulnerable or high risk persons before confirming any bookings.

Why choose me as your pet sitter?

I'm a mature and experienced pet sitter available at short notice to take care of your fur babies while you are away. I've cared for domestic pets (dogs, cats, birds and fish) as well as farm animals such as horses, chickens and livestock.

Pet sitting is something I do for enjoyment as I am passionate about caring for all creatures and have a strong interest in furthering my knowledge and experience as an animal specialist. What I offer that is different to other sitters is the peace of mind with the attention to detail and standard of care that I provide.I don't need to pet sit as a means for accommodation or for extra income, I do it because I am genuinely passionate about animals and want to further my experience.

I'm an avid animal lover and am currently pursuing studies in dog behaviour and training.

My philosophy is to provide the best care possible to all animals in my care, treating them like they're my own. I carry this approach into my house sitting, where your home is given the utmost care and is left immaculate upon your return. I'm a government professional by day, working in Tuggeranong from around 9am - 5pm, and I also attend the gym in the early morning (5:30-6:30am). Apart from that, I am available to meet your pets needs around these times and during the weekends. I can offer drop-in services or in-home care while you are away, as well as dog walking during the week or weekends.

I provide comprehensive care for your pets, based on yours and their requirements. My basic service includes feeding/water and basic grooming, play and various levels of daily exercise, including light walks and trips to the dog park, or more rigorous exercise for larger dogs, such as running, hiking or swimming. I can walk dogs in the morning and/or the evening (30-60min sessions), and/or take them to dog parks, local swimming spots or wherever your pooches love to visit on the weekends. I provide your special companion(s) with lots of cuddles and affection to keep up their spirits while you are away. I also offer additional services such as as bathing, taking them to any vet or trainer appointments and practicing obedience training as required.

I'm available to drop-in once or twice a day, or can stay-in as a house sitter to give you peace of mind that both your pets and your home are cared for while you are away.

Reducing stress on your pets is vital for ensuring they stay happy and healthy. Pet kennelling can be stressful on many animals and leave them anxious about any future separation. For longer trips, I recommend in-home pet sitting, as this helps maintain their routines and brings them comfort until your return. The benefit of an in-home service also gives you peace of mind that your home is being looked after. I am an experienced house-sitter and am known for being extremely tidy and meticulous. As part of an in-home service, I will water your plants/garden, check your mail and collect packages, take the bins out and do basic cleaning and maintenance around the home to ensure I leave no footprint. I can also offer additional cleaning services, which can be discussed upon booking.

For shorter trips, a drop-in service may be a desirable and affordable solution. I can drop-in to your home once or twice a day for a short or longer visit based on the needs of your pet(s), and for a capped fee.
