We live on 5 acres with horses, a cat and ducks, only 15 minutes outside of Airlie Beach. Our pups are well trained, love to explore the outsides and sleep on the couch. Archie and Benjie are both very friendly Kelpie crosses and love to show new friends their best hidden secrets in our area. :)
We currently don't have a fenced yard but pups are kept inside while we're away and our yard is surrounded by bushes and paddocks so is a fair way from the road. Good level of recall for your dogs would be advantageous but we can also leave on a long lead whilst in the yard with them.
Our dogs are walked twice daily either along dog beaches or amongst the sugar cane fields. We work around the corner and pups are kept inside while we're away, free to roam the house and verandah.
Whether you live here and want to go away but want your pups looked after or whether you are here on holidays and want to explore the islands for a day or two, we are happy to help and show your pups a good time.
Boarding price does not include meals, please bring along their usual food. If possible, please bring beds and a favourite toy with you to make it more like home :)

Nele looked after our little guy like one of her own. He was so happy and the location on average, close to Airlie beach is awesome. Nele’s 2 very friendly dogs mad our boys time there even more comfortable.

I work as a full time operations manager in the tourism industry but I have been rescuing and training horses and dogs for the past 6 years. I also keep my horse on a farm in Bonogin so for a very well trained dog (with owners approval) Archie and I can also take your pup on trail rides.
I take Archie everywhere I go so he is a very well trained and friendly Kelpie. We go for swims in the ocean in the morning and usually take the bicycle to the dog park in the afternoon - on some days Archie gets to "work" on the farm when we train the horses.
I prefer to keep dogs that are not familiar with me on leads during walks, unless otherwise advised by you - the pet owner.
My best friend also lives with us who has yearsof experience in dog breeding and reptile care.
