Hi there!

My name is Ruth. I am 33 and recently moved back to Melbourne after a couple of years in Canada.

I'm very caring and responsible, for both your pet and your home. I have a passion for dogs and cats but will also be available for other types of pets.

I am a Social Worker during the week and I have worked part-time as a dog handler with experience both in the dog day care and overnight stays. I have knowledge in managing various dog behaviours and I have completed my Pet First Aid.

I provide the following services:

- Home visits to your place. I come to your house and can stay for up to 30 minutes as required to feed your animal, play time, attend to any mess and take them for a walk (if previously arranged).

- Overnight/multiple night stays at your place (feeding, walking, hugs, mail collection, plant watering, etc.). I come to your house and stay overnight to care for your animal in your home. This service would include a walk if previously arranged.

- Dog walking. Dog walks are approximately 30 minutes, however, I will be happy to discuss your dogs usual walk route.

I understand how hard it can be to trust a new person to care for your pet and would be available to arrange to meet you first to ensure you feel they will be in safe hands. It will also allow me to make sure your animal is comfortable with me too.
