Mackayla

My name is Mackayla, I'm a 26year old psychology student who has lived and worked in Melbourne for most of my life. Currently, I'm bartending and petsitting as a way to save money to buy a house. 

Though I am new to PawShake, I have been on Aussie Pet Sitters, Trusted Housesitters and some UK based agencies. Over the last few years I have had numerous petsits in Melbourne and in the UK while I was there on student exchange. Every time has been a great experience and I would love to continue on this path - I now have recurring petsits and ongoing relationships with some people I've met through these sites which feels really wholesome. 

As I no longer live at home I have missed the comfort of an animals company, so petsit has really been a blessing in that sense. I grew up with a lot of animals from horses, to chickens, birds, rats, cats and dogs so I'm comfortable caring for a wide range of pets. I am a naturally empathetic and caring person so I always endeavour to give the best care I can. This extends to the household and owner making sure that everyone is comfortable and informed throughout the pet sit duration.

My services include Dog walking, overnight care in the pets home and in my own home. 

I hope to leave every petsit with the most positive experience possible.
