Dog boarding/sitting
Dog-sitting will only be suited to pups that are house-trained and are used to smaller living environments. I live with my girlfriend in a one-bedroom apartment with balcony. We are a short stroll away from Fairfield Park, Yarra Bend Park and Coate Reserve so your dog will be likely be taken to each of these during their stay. Camille and I are both dog-lovers so we can promise a lot of attention and pats. We both work full time but we are fairly flexible and can work from home for part of the week however there will be times when we are both away from the house for extended periods (less than 8 hours). Please provide your dog's favourite bed for the stay and food for meal(s). Let us know their diet and we will not over or underfeed. They will have free range of our apartment and they can sleep in our bedroom, in the living room or on the balcony if they prefer outdoors (whatever you recommend or what seems to work best).
- Dog sitting will include two walks a day including one to the dog park.
House visits/house sitting
Offering house sitting or daily visits to dogs at owners' houses. I will check on them, feed, water, take them for an hour walk, give meds, whatever is required if you're away for an extended period and your pup needs some attention. I should also mention that I am a qualified botanist and arborist so I am capable of tending to your indoor plants and garden as well if you're away and need some help. Other animals are mostly fine also. I have experience with cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, mice, chooks, sheep, pigs, cows, horses. Fish and planted aquariums are also fine (I have a planted aquarium at home). Will feed, check pH, do water replacements, clean tanks and will check filters, heaters, co2 if things don't appear to be working.
A bit about my dog experience
Dogs growing up included:
- Jonesy (border collie X Kelpie)
- Tilly (brown spotted Dalmatian)
- Polly (black spotted Dalmatian + helped raise her litter of 9 pups)
- Zac (mature aged beagle)
-Perdi (Polly's brown-spotted daughter who we kept due to deafness).
Dogs in adult life:
- Winston (Kelpie X daschund shared with housemates for 3 years)
- Ned and Scout (sisters two German coolie X. Both rescues, spent a lot of time with these two, countless beach walks and games of fetch and have Dog sitted many times).
- Dog sitted three dogs last year while wwoofing (no pun intended) in the UK. Some of these are in my photo collection.
Yes, my dog history is mostly with bigger dogs and bigger dogs are what I'm most comfortable looking after. But have had a bit of recent experience with girlfriends mother's dog (Papillion) and we get along pretty well too.

Harry did an excellent job looking after our very hyperactive staffy. Would definitely recommend him to others. Thanks again!
Harry was excellent with my anxious dog Rosie. He was very patient with her and the house was very clean when I returned. Very happy with his service.
