My spouse and I moved to Melbourne eight months ago for my spouse's doctoral studies. My spouse is pursuing his PhD at Monash University, while I am not working and spend a lot of time at home. Before moving to Melbourne, we lived in Turkey, where the love for animals has become a cultural norm. Both my spouse and I have grown up surrounded by animals. While living with our families in Turkey, we had three cats (all rescued), and my spouse's family had one (rescued, again). We also did fostering time to time. So, we both have very good experience with pet care, especially from fostering rescued and sick cats. However, upon moving here, we found ourselves distanced from animals. I must honestly say that this has caused us to experience depression. We felt lost because we had always been with animals, both at home and on the streets in Turkey. But since we have limited time in Australia, we can't adopt animals. So, we thought that when dear parents of pets are away from home, we could take care of their pets in our lovely home. While my spouse may not always be at home due to his studies in the campus, I spend almost all of my time at home, dealing with daily tasks or my hobbies. Therefore, if you choose us to be your petsitter, you can be sure that we will not leave them alone (we're 90% at home) and will always play with them and cheer them up. By the way, our home is very suitable for pet care. We have screens on every window, and our relatively spacious house provides your pets to run and play freely. If you prefer your pet to be outdoors in a safe and supervised environment, we also have a small enclosed backyard for this. In case of any emergency (god forbid), we have a car and can transport your pet to the vet if needed. All vaccinated and neutered pets are welcome in our animal-friendly, safe, and loving home!

Benan was a very conscientious and caring dog sitter. She and her husband were very patient and loving towards my dogs despite one of them being a bit temperamental. I received lots of photos and updates which eased my mind.
I would highly recommend Benan as a sitter and would not hesitate to use her again. Thank you!
