For 11 years I have been working on my career as a PROFESSIONAL ANIMAL CARER / ZOO KEEPER and WILDLIFE EDUCATOR. I have gained my experience working at Taronga Conservation Society Australia, Dreamworld Wildlife Foundation, and several overseas projects such as: Komodo National Park (reptile population counting), Antarctica (marine mammals voyage), Laos (elephant rescue and rehabilitation refuge), Thailand (primate and elephant rescue and rehabilitation refuge), just to name a few.
I have the capability to confidently handle and care all animals: hairy, fluffy, scaly and feathery and provide veterinary care for those who require special attention. I am currently rehabilitating a rainbow lorikeet indefinitely who has high levels of stress due to neglect from previous pet owners. I can only hope that I can help overcome these issues and bring my lorikeet happiness.
My motivation to become a pet sitter is because I have always loved the thought to have a pet of my own (particularly a dog) but the commitment right now is not suitable for me and my family (my partner and 11 year old stepdaughter), with the preference to travel. But while we are sticking around we would love to welcome a temporary friend into our home.
I hope to hear from you soon.
Anette is an amazing sitter. She is extremely patient and kind and made Busters experience very happy. Highly recommend her service particularly for pets her maybe timid and nervous of being left. We will definitely be using Anette again.
Anette did a great job in looking after my little ones .
They came back looking very happy
