Hey! My name is Kendall!
I've been an animal lover since birth, and have recently moved to Sydney with my husband and our small cat (who thinks she's a dog). I run my own business and work from home, so am able to provide constant cuddles and walks for your four-legged friend(s). We have a fenced backyard area, so if your dog prefers frolicking in the backyard over snoozing at my feet while I work, it's up to them! We live very near to several parks, and a dog park, and I am always up for an adventure! We recently just adopted our own pup, Jake, an Australian Kelpie. He is young and wild at the moment, so we are taking some time to teach him (and ourselves, honestly), and allow him to settle in our home.
Growing up, I always had at least one animal in my house -- from cats to dogs to hamsters to birds. My favourite animal in the world are llamas! Closely followed by dogs (of course). Our five-year-old cat, Finley, is very relaxed and loves to play fetch. She truly thinks she's a dog!
In between semesters at university, I worked for a dog daycare and pet sitting company and loved coming to work every day. Who wouldn't want to be surrounded by 15+ dogs everyday?! I love all dogs, and if your beloved pup is staying with us, rest assured they will receive loads of attention, cuddles, and play time. A typical day would include a walk (or two!), play time in the backyard, feeds, cuddles, and lots of "who's a good boy!". Plus, I am always available for communication, and am happy to send photo updates to you so that you know your dog is happy and having a great time while you're away!
Dog walks will be through our lovely neighbourhood, or down to the park! Depending on your dog's amount of energy, walks would typically be between 20 minutes to an hour! If they're up for a run, I'm up for it! I work from home, so I'll be hanging out with your pup(s) during the day! They can snooze at my feet until it's time to get outside! Our backyard is fully fenced, so dogs will have a fun little spot to stretch their legs before or after our walks!
We have one cat, Finley, who (again)
thinks she's a dog. Her favourite activity is to sleep high up on her kitty tree, so she'll likely stay out of the way of any dogs in the house. Our dog-guests will be able to relax on our super comfy carpets, or up on the couch with us! Or if they want to hang out outside, they can do that too!

I worked for a dog daycare and home pet-sitting company in the United States. I worked alone, which meant that it was me and usually anywhere from ten-twenty dogs during the day. When I did my home visits outside of the daycare, it was for walks and meal times. This work taught me how to handle every dog and their unique needs and temperaments. I am a pro-walker (would even love to run with your pup if they're up for it), and have completed a National Crime Check.
