Natalie

Hi! My name is Natalie and I'm a 23 year old elite track and field athlete, aiming to qualify for the Olympics and 2025 world championships. I also work (from home most days) as a civil engineer.

To help fund my athletics journey I am providing house and pet sitting. I have house sat for family, neighbours of my parents, and family friends for years now, and have been on Pawshake for just under a year now! I frequently care for elderly dogs that require medications up to twice a day, and am happy to administer any required midicines after appropriate instructions are provided for them.

My family currently has a dog (3yo German Shepard/Kelpie rescue, Charlie) and a tame, freeflying budgie (6yo, Loki), and previously I have also lived with cats, bird aviaries ranging from finches to ringnecks, and freshwater fish tanks. I would also be able to look after reptiles, chickens etc, with appropriate instructions... I love all animals!

If needed I can also do basic pool care (adding chlorine, sweeping the sides etc) and look after any pot plants.

I've lived on the Brisbane Southside my whole life, as well as having my own car and full licence. Most days I work from home during the day, then will be out for my sport training for 2-5 hours most afternoon/evenings. 

I have experience with rescue dogs/birds, elderly/arthritic dogs, dogs with both mental and physical health issues, as well as dogs with dog-agression and stranger-aggression.

Due to my sporting commitments currently I am able to provide my services to the Brisbane southside and inner Brisbane.
