I have been on the move the last few years -
meaning
I have been unable to have pets of my own. I miss the unconditional & sometimes conditional love pets provide.
I have lived in the city and country and I love both.
I have owned cats, dogs and chooks, enjoying them all. I also enjoyed the company of a Blue tongue lizard soaking the sun by my water heater and, Blue & Jenny wrens busy in the garden year after year while a Willy Wag tail routinely tapped & chats to it reflection in my windows - I chat to myself too: perhaps we have more in common than I first thought.
At the end of the day I would take my camp chair and sit with the chooks. I found them surprisingly interactive & curious- a fabulous way to unwind at the end of the day.
Dogs, of course, are unique in their unconditional love, what a joy to wake up to & return home to, the wildly wagging tail and their smiling often laughing face, full of joy - I try to be just like that when I see my children and people I love.
And cats...I wait for them to come to me! There is no rushing a cat and I am a little like that: difficult to rush! I watch in awe as cats move & play: was I ever that graceful & lithe - heehee - sure I was. I am thankful I'm not living in a time or place where I am prey & cats are the predator!
And then...they come....snuggling deep into the nape of your neck and purring, curling tightly on your chest or, lolling across your lap comfortable in positions only a cat can be.
It will be my pleasure & priviledge to love & care for your pets and I have references I can refer you to.
All the best and travel safe.
Kind regards,
Linda.
