Hi, my names Amanda, I am 32 years old and I have recently moved to Melbourne from North East Victoria where I lived for the past 16 years. I‘m currently working in the North Eastern suburbs of Melbourne as a Veterinarian Nurse. I have been a qualified vet nurse for over 12 years. My passion, care and knowledge for our beautiful fur babies is what I care about most, they are part of our family and I would treat your pet like one of my own. I own two beautiful boys, a 3 year old Jack Russel Terrier called Kevin and a beautiful 4 year old cat named Walter. I’m an early riser and enjoy going for walks and I’d love nothing more then to take your beautiful four legged friend on a lovely walk with Kevin. Our walks can range from 30 minutes to an hour. I do keep in mind the health status of your pet; if it’s arthritic I’m happy to go for a shorter walk. I’m also happy to do one or two walks a day depending on your dogs usual routine. As I am a qualified Veterinary Nurse and work full time in the industry, I am happy to medicate, feed, walk and even let them sleep with me (if that‘s their usual routine). Due to working full time, I will be able to give your pet the TLC they deserve every morning and night.
I also hold a silver certificate for low stress handling, which means I thoroughly understand body language, so if your pet is anxious, stressed or fearful I will work with him/her to make our stay together as comfortable as possible. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.
