About Genevieve
Hi, my name is Genevieve! I'm an experienced pet carer servicing the Gungahlin area. My experience includes owning and/or caring for dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, and cats. I am open to adding new critters to my repertoire and love learning about how to care for all animals.
About Me
I'm a small business owner and homeschool parent, which gives me flexible availability to help you care for your pets. Whether its a weekday or weekend, my flexible schedule means I can usually cater to your furry loved one's needs.
All the animals I have owned were rescues! I have a deep pool of knowledge when it comes to dog and rabbit behaviour, thanks to some of my rescue pets' behavioural quirks. My attention to detail and thorough research skills are an absolute asset to my high quality pet care services.
Pet Care Services
🐕 Dog Walking: 30 - 40 minutes, depending on your dog's desire to sniff and explore! Walkie pictures included. All equipment must be supplied, e.g. leash, harness, collar, poo bags, treats, etc.
🏡 Home Visits: 30 - 40 minutes per visit, including feeding your pet(s), refilling water bowls, administering medication, playtime and/or 15 minute walk around the block, cuddles, one update per visit and a cute picture (or two, or more 😆). I am happy to tidy an xpen area / cage, change litter and/or clean up dog poo from the yard; however, disposable gloves - at least one pair per visit - must be provided by you. The required quantity of pet food, medication and equipment must be available in your home, for each visit, e.g. pet food, pet medication, litter box(es), additional litter, poo scooper / shovel, poo bags, disposal bin, broom, mop etc. I'm also happy to help with minor home care tasks, e.g. water your plants, open / close curtains, take out / bring in wheelie bin, bring in mail, etc.
🛏 House Sitting (existing clients only): Some pets, especially those with additional medical needs, simply need care and company over night. ❤ For House Sits, I provide my Dog Walking and Home Visit services, tailored to your pets' needs, and stay overnight, in your home, to monitor your beloved animals. You will receive a daily update and lots of cute pictures, plus I'm also happy to conduct a daily video call at an agreed time for you to see and talk to your fur babies. All pet food, pet medication and required equipment must be supplied by you, for the duration of the House Sit. Please note, while house sitting, I still fulfil my usual family and personal commitments, but where possible, am more than happy to discuss how your animal friend can join me. While I endeavour to keep my calendar availability up to date, I recommend communicating with me first about house sitting, prior to booking. My house sitting services are available Friday, Saturday and Sundays only, in smoke free homes, within the Gungahlin region.

Reviews
Genevieve took wonderful care of all our animals when we went away. Her communication, photos and videos showed the time she spent being with them, playing with them and making sure they were well fed and happy. She took great care of the house too, opening and closing curtains so it looked as if someone was home, bringing in the bins and parcels and even dealing with an ant infestation in the kitchen bin! We couldn’t be happier with her care of our pets and look forward to using her services again.
Genevieve was great with our little Arlo, giving him lots of pats and taking good care of him. We appreciated her regular communication and help very much!
